Software First Installation:
1) Insert the Powered Plug-Ins CD. The installer will automatically run. (If you have
disabled “Auto insert notification” on your CDROM drive, double click Setup.exe on the
CD to run the installer.)
2) Setup will guide you through the installation procedure.
Note: On some computers, the installer must update the Windows Installer and reboot
before the Powered Plug-Ins installation can proceed. If your system needs this update, it
will happen automatically, and you will be asked to restart your computer after
configuring the Windows Installer.
3) Once the software is installed, you will be asked if you want to reboot automatically.
Choose the “No” option, and shut down your system manually. When the power is off,
install the UAD-1 card in a spare PCI slot.
4) After you restart the computer, the system will automatically locate and install the
drivers for the UAD-1 card.
