Why is the printer not responding from the Print Command?
Windows Based Machines: Check the parallel port mode. To do this, right-click on My Computer and select Properties. Next, click the Device manager tab, double click on Ports, then on Printer Port LPT1 (or the port to which the printer is connected). The port should be listed as a ECP parallel port. If it is not, consult your PC manual for instruction on how to change the parallel port mode. Also make certain that the version of the 32bit spooler is 3.0.4 or higher. Be sure that you are using the CD Color Printer II driver. The CD Color Printer Driver released for the Signature WILL NOT work with the Signature II. If you are using an auto loader or disc duplicator, be sure the PRN file you are using was created with the CD Color Printer II driver. If all else fails reset the printer by unplugging the power cord and cable.
