RESOLVED: iLok-protected AU plug-ins crash on macOS Sonoma 14.4
RESOLVED
When Apple released macOS Sonoma 14.4 on March 7, 2024, it introduced a bug causing iLok-protected Audio Unit plug-ins to crash on M2 or M3 Mac with Apple silicon computers.
PACE iLok and Universal Audio report that Apple fixed this bug with the macOS Sonoma 14.4.1 update released on March 25, 2024. If you are on macOS Sonoma, PACE and Universal Audio recommend that you install the Apple update.
If for some other reason you must use macOS 14.4, running your DAW under Rosetta might help if the plug-ins are Universal binary.
