Do I have to use the latest EOS version?
Whereas any version of EOS will allow you to perform professional sampling with your E4 class product, the later (newer) versions of software add additional features and improvements. EOS 4.0 offers a multitude of improvements such as a new and improved user interface, compatibility with EOS link Mac / PC remote control software to allow you to control your sampler from your host computer, improvements to the sequencer, some new DSP features, etc.
