Hardware First Installation:
1) Shut down the computer and install the UAD-1 card in an empty PCI slot.
2) Restart your computer. The Add New Hardware Wizard will automatically run and ask
for new drivers for a PCI Multimedia Device. Select “Search…” and choose the CD-ROM
drive.
3) Insert the Powered Plug-Ins CD, and follow the installation instructions given.
4) After the UA Digital UAD-1 PCI drivers are installed, double-click Setup.exe on the
CD to run the Powered Plug-Ins installer.
5) Setup will guide you through the Powered Plug-Ins installation procedure.
Note: On some computers, the installer must update the Windows Installer and reboot
before the Powered Plug-Ins installation can proceed. If your system needs this update, it
will happen automatically, and you will be asked to restart your computer after
configuring the Windows Installer.
