How do I disable Intel Hyperthreading on my Creation Station Rack, Pro, or Cube?

To disable Intel’s Hyperthreading Technology on your Creation Station (for compatibility with GigaStudio, Pro Tools, Native Instruments, and others):

* Please note the Creation Station Tower does NOT have Hyperthreading, and thus you need not worry about disabling it.

1. Restart your computer (or turn it on)
2. When you see the first boot-up screen (American Megatrends) with your hard drive list, memory, etc., press the DEL button on your keyboard several times. You will have a short opportunity to press this key, so locate it before you get to this screen
3. You will enter the BIOS SETUP UTILITY
4. Use the cursor keys to go to Advanced, press ENTER
5. Cursor down to CPU Configuration, press ENTER
6. Cursor down to Hyper Threading Technology
7. Press the + or – key to change it to Disabled
8. Press F10 – you will be asked to Save and Exit. Press Enter to do so.
9. Your machine will now reboot without Hyperthreading
