Get to know them!

An Introductory Horn for Tiny Music Lovers

Have you ever wished you could start your child with a brass instrument while still in their formative years? Thanks to the pBugle, you can! The pBugle is a lightweight plastic horn that’s practically indestructible, courtesy of its rugged ABS plastic design. It requires your child to buzz to make a sound, allowing them to explore what playing a brass instrument is like before they get their hands on the real thing. With no valves or keys to complicate the learning process, the pBugle encourages little ones to develop tone, use air, and create pitch using their embouchure. Although the pBugle is made for younger musicians without prior experience, this horn is capable of creating a sound that feels right at home among real brass instruments. Plus, the pBugle comes ready to play.

Get to know pInstruments

Thanks to pInstruments, playing a brass instrument is more accessible than ever. Every pInstrument is remarkably affordable, long lasting, and made from incredibly high-performing glass fiber, a hard-wearing plastic that effectively mimics the sound of traditional brass instruments. The company offers three instruments for true beginners — pBugle, pBone Mini, and pBuzz — as well as more advanced horns like the pCornet, the pTrumpet, and the pBone. Because of their practicality, pInstruments have grown increasingly popular among music educators and young musicians. Still, Sweetwater musicians find they are equally appropriate and fun to play for professionals, too.

pInstruments pBugle Features:

  • Plastic beginner bugle made from lightweight ABS plastic
  • Simple design provides tiny musicians with an easy way to learn a brass instrument
  • Smooth, ergonomic grip allows kids to practice for longer amounts of time
  • Pitch can be controlled by the player's embouchure
  • Valveless design lets kids focus on buzzing technique rather than fingerings
  • Includes a plastic mouthpiece
