works well.

it was cheap. it's smaller than I expected at about 1" square. my only complaint, and not really a complaint, is that I wish it was warmer sounding. i wanted something portable but it's replacing one of the wood pyramid style ones. I'm sure it wouldn't be too hard to emulate that "tock" sound with a pleasant tone. this is more of a "click" "click" sound. not putting it down, just offering a wish list idea.

Not for a drummer!

I expected this to be at least a little loud,.. but it is barely audible WITHOUT drums playing. it has 2 settings soft and loud,.. loud is about as loud as a whisper. I don't even think I could hear it if I clipped it to my ear! Get something else!
