Fat Tone, Portable Size

I love this little "overachiever" of an amp. Awesome tone, sweet and fat. I have parked my 410 cabinet and will only use it on those very rare occasions, now that I have purchased this "back" friendly amp. This is well worth the price and it is made in the USA. Plenty of features with plenty of benefits. Check this combo out for yourself. You will fall in love with with it ,as I did.

little big amp

for such alittle amp it has some good volume&great great tone variance witth or without parametic eq.great tone monster, not as loud as my m9&ph1200 but a lot easier to lug around for practice or just having fun.i was reluctant in buying another bass amp but when it got here&iplayed thru it wow!did i mention this is a great little amp that sounds big.

This Mesa boogies

I wanted a small grab-n-go combo for rehearsals and smaller gigs but without giving up great tone and this is what I needed. There are cheaper small combo alternatives but not with this tone, warm, full and tubey with a nice punch to the notes. The Mesa Scout has been around a few years now and there were a lot of reviews out there to read, virtually all favorable. For a small 112 cabinet this thing kicks it out better than anything else its size, and has no trouble keeping up with a drummer and two moderately loud guitarists. For bigger gigs, buy a bigger amp. But this will serve you well for everything else. It's expensive but very well made and an amp you'll want to keep.

The Portable Camelion

I have only had this for a few weeks and played one event. My initial impression is highly favorable. You can easily mimic B15 sound just as easily as you can dial up a modern punchy sound. Dare I say this can do Ampeg, GK and Hartke by tone adjustments. Build qualty is excellent. A nice versatile combination in a portable package. For what it is worth, the DI output is very good....makes going into a house system easy. If you like old school technology that can produce a broad range of tone, this should be on your short list.

I bought my Mesa bass amp 12 years ago after playing everything on the market. Only the Mesa delivered the tone and power I need for the diverse styles I play.
