Leave Your Amp at Home, Not Your Tone!

The Two Notes Torpedo C.A.B. packs all of the high-end cabinet simulation featured in their Torpedo Live emulator into a convenient stompbox format. Tailored to accept hi-Z, high-gain pedal input (rather than speaker-level signal like the Torpedo Live), the Torpedo C.A.B. is the perfect backend for your pedalboard, allowing you to pipe your favorite effects directly into your PA or recording rig, without sacrificing the spatial dimension you get with a real cabinet. And with over 50 impulse-response guitar and bass cabinet emulations to choose from, the Two Notes Torpedo C.A.B. will never leave you short on tone.

Two Notes Torpedo C.A.B. Guitar Cabinet and Power Amplifier Emulator Pedal at a Glance:
  • Pure Torpedo technology onboard drives over 50 amazing guitar cabinet emulations
  • All of the controls you need onboard to fit your most elaborate live setup
  • Specifically designed to turn your pedalboard into a complete guitar rig
Pure Torpedo technology onboard drives over 50 amazing guitar cabinet emulations

The Two Notes Torpedo C.A.B. cabinet and power amp emulator doesn't just hook you up with over 50 of the most sought-after guitar and bass cabinets on earth, it gives you all of the option you need to put them to work. Choose from EL84, EL34, 6L6, or KT88 tubes in Class A or Class A/B topology configurations and either pentode or triode mode - talk about tweakable tone! And all of the Torpedo C.A.B.'s emulations are impulse-response based, including its eight amazing mic models (complete with mic placement options). And if that's not enough for you, you can even capture your own cab and mic combinations via Two Notes' free Torpedo Capture software for Mac and PC.

All of the controls you need onboard to fit your most elaborate live setup

Storage for 32 instantly recallable presets is only the beginning of what the Two Notes Torpedo C.A.B. has to offer you. There are dedicated controls for volume, presence, and depth, as well as a pentode/triode switch and a pair of assignable footswitches. These footswitches make it easy to jump between presets, bypass the Torpedo C.A.B.'s 5-band EQ, and perform other rapid on-the-fly actions. What's more, the Torpedo C.A.B. features a MIDI input, which lets you connect it to a more elaborate MIDI foot controller for even more real-time control.

Specifically designed to turn your pedalboard into a complete guitar rig

The Two Notes Torpedo C.A.B. guitar and bass cabinet emulator doesn't just look like a guitar pedal - it's specifically designed to play well with all of your favorite stompboxes. Onstage, the Torpedo C.A.B. is the perfect way to ditch your traditional amplifier and run straight to the PA, making it a perfect companion to any in-ear monitoring system. If you're recording in a home studio or anywhere else with less-than-ideal isolation, the Torpedo C.A.B. is a real lifesaver, allowing you to run directly from your pedalboard to your recording rig, without losing any of the spacial dimension you'd normally get with a miked up cab. No more amp

At our church we had to give up our amps. So I tried running thru my pedalboard. It was a disaster. I saw the ad in Sweetwater featuring mercy me guitarist, saying they don't use amps on stage. He then recommended the two notes torpedo. So I bought this thing. Let me tell everyone this is the answer. This box gave me everything I was looking for and more. Not only am I not using my amp in church, when I play out I'm not having to haul that monster amp around and I have all kinds of sounds and tones. Way more than with my amp. Thank you Sweetwater

Great piece of kit!

I watched several review videos of the Torpedo CAB before purchasing and knew it was a good piece of gear. I wasn't prepared for how much it increased the quality of my bass in my in-ears. Now I can get back some of the beefiness you lose by using in-ears. The DI signal I'm sending to the front of house is also much closer to the sound of a great amp mic'd up.

A Real Solution

This is one well thought-out piece of gear. After a 10 hour learning/play-through session, I was impressed by the straight forward design. Nothing stumped me. Everything made sense. Editing, after one gets acquainted with the layout, could not be simpler ... even without the computer interface. Of course, what really fried my noodle for those 10 hours was the variety, quality and depth of the IR's. There is plenty right out of the box to wet the appetite, but a quick cruise through their online store ... and 6 more cabinets downloaded really made for a fun afternoon. By now, most of us have had experience with good amp modelers. The Torpedo C.A.B. offers a way into that high-level IR world without savaging the bank account.

Pairs nicely with Eleven Rack

I have an Eleven Rack for all the same reasons anyone wants to use modeling and playing direct without a live cabinet. I love it, but the ER cabs just aren't realistic enough. I put the Torpedo CAB in my effects loop and bypass the ER cabs. It makes a huge difference particularly when playing with headphones. I even throw a splash of power amp simulation from the CAB (even though the ER does that) and it gives my rig a robust, powerful sound. I don't see a lot of discussion about the La Boutique feature and the Two Notes store. The CAB has great cab sims built in, but the La Boutique feature lets you go online and test out all of the great IR's in the Two Notes store. I was immediately drawn to the Fried30 cab, and I purchased it within a few days of receiving my CAB. The La Boutique feature is so much fun, and very easy to use. I have spent some long nights hearing all of the wonderful tones I can get out of the CAB. I have literally lost a lot of sleep over this thing...in a good way.

Sweetwater Advice

Robert Williams

I play bass in a variety of environments and need a compact, versatile rig with quality tone. The Torpedo CAB is essential to my signal chain since I primarily go direct. I recently upgraded the firmware and in addition to new cabs from Two Notes, easily uploaded cabs from RedWirez and Ownhammer. The addition of ambience per preset eliminated the need for an external processor. And with the resolution of the impulse responses, I don't need as sophisticated a preamp (now using the Bogner Harlow). The sound of my instrument comes through loud and clear. My pedalboard setup is as simple as plugging in power, instrument and signal to the house.
