Classic plate reverb sounds
PlateVerb utilizes two bespoke “SSL-crafted” algorithms to calculate early/late reflections. These superbly capture all the properties of a plate reverb, including its sound and its mechanical and damping characteristics. PlateVerb also enables you to adjust Density for tweaking the diffusion of late reverb tail reflections and specify decay time plus desired room size to achieve your ideal ambience. Damping controls include limiting high/low frequency decay so that your resultant reverb sounds even more focused. Finally, PlateVerb’s Colour knob lets you select the harmonic properties of different plate materials. With decay times from 100ms up to a full three seconds, SSL PlateVerb can give your tracks everything from a subtle lift to a cavernous sustain.
