Solid State Logic’s SSL FlexVerb reverb plug-in is named for its stunning flexibility and versatility. With its full feature set and intuitive controls, it delivers a professional mix-ready sound quickly and efficiently. FlexVerb offers four algorithmic reverb types — room, hall, plate, and chamber — for subtle ambience, a dramatic sense of space, or a cavernous wash that decays for days. Sweetwater producers report that early and late reflection types can be independently selected, so you can pair a fast room snap with an exaggerated large plate reverb tail, or other custom combinations. And a 6-band SSL EQ gives you total control over the reverb’s frequency response to tame boomy lows, carve out mud, or add sparkle to the top end. Additionally, FlexVerb includes an output compressor for the processed signal, a unique feature that helps the reverb sit in the mix. Dial in the perfect amount of reverb using the wet/dry mix control and lock it for switching between presets for matched comparisons. Finally, you can switch to infinite reverb for otherworldly droning or hit the reverb tail kill switch for clean transitions or dramatic stops.
