Bring a Studio's Worth of Acoustic Mics into your DAW

Solid State Logic’s Acoustifier plug-in breathes new life into your DI-recorded acoustic guitar tracks, delivering incredible detail and nuance right within your favorite DAW. This sound-shaping tool is designed to take your dry DI recordings straight from your acoustic guitar’s pickup output and reshape them into studio-quality tracks. You get four modeled guitar types, three microphone types, and two mic configurations to craft your ideal sound, with onboard EQ and compression options available to further tweak your sonic creations to perfection. Moreover, you receive four types of reverb, complete with a ducking feature to retain clarity, adding space and dimension to your finalized acoustic sound. From its user-friendly interface to its powerful selection of tone-shaping controls, Acoustifier stands as the go-to plug-in for DIY singer-songwriters and music producers alike.

Note: This product requires that you have an iLok account for authorization, although it does not require a physical iLok key. Please contact your Sweetwater Sales Engineer if you have questions.

Virtual mic modeling puts your guitar in the studio

The DI-to-mic simulation in Acoustifier provides an intuitive and powerful interface that Sweetwater’s DIY recording artists find immensely useful for easily crafting their sonic sculptures. To start your recordings off right, choose from four guitar types — two dreadnoughts, a jumbo, and a concert/orchestra — to best match your own acoustic’s body style. Pair it with one of three mic types (dynamic, condenser, or ribbon), and relish in hyper-realistic, studio-grade acoustic tracks. To blend a mixture of your preferred mic settings, check out the Stereo mic panning feature and enjoy mix-ready stereo results.

Flexible sonic sculpting

No need to add extra compressors and EQs to your tracks — Acoustifier provides all the additional tools you need to present your best acoustic guitar tone. The built-in EQ includes a real-time frequency analyzer to accurately pinpoint where adjustments need to be made to fit within your mix. Dealing with booming lows or shrieking highs? Tame those frequencies with ease using the highpass and lowpass filters. The compressor inside the Acoustifier can also be adjusted to smooth out any attenuated signals or intensify your tone. Plus, its potency can be configured via the Mix control, giving you the exact amount of squeeze you need. For even greater control, the compressor can be switched before or after your reverb, further expanding your aural capabilities.

Solid State Logic Acoustifier Features:

  • DI-to-microphone simulation plug-in designed to elevate your acoustic guitar tracks into studio-ready recordings
  • Select from 4 acoustic guitar body type templates and 3 microphone styles to establish your acoustic sound foundation
  • Built-in EQ with frequency analyzer and highpass/lowpass filters to monitor and shape your tone in real time

Reviews

Acoustifier plugin
I love this plug in. My itself it still has a little bit of the 'plugin' sound. But when I mix it with a small condenser panning a little off center I can get a very fat and juicy acoustic sound. Very easy to use. I am enjoying it.
