Cakewalk's Rapture is an incredible soft synth tailored for use in electronica-styled music. This dual platform creative tool has extensive sound designing capabilities, with over 500 programs, six programmable Elements, multi-wave oscillators with ring modulation, and a whole host of envelopes, filters, and LFOs for creating mind-blowing sounds. Rapture's multi-mode wavetable oscillators create an nearly unending supply of sonic variety, and you can multiply each oscillator up to 9 times across the stereo field and engage the controlled detuning for beefy synth tones that you've never heard before. Rapture utilizes a high-resolution anti-aliasing engine for excellent sound quality, and the well-designed interface makes envelope generators and LFOs incredibly easy to use.
