With the Roland RT-MicS, recording and performing has never been simpler. This battery-powered snare/tom tool combines a microphone with a drum trigger and sound module, giving you full control of your acoustic and electronic tones into a PA or recording medium — no accessories needed! The onboard claps and percussion samples paint a rich palette of adventurous tones. But for even greater control, connect the RT-MicS to your Mac or PC and load up to eight of your own samples. Samples are selected via a single button overlooking the hoop of your drum; an LCD screen display keeps you apprised of the sample number at any time. Trigger sensitivity and volume settings for each source — drum and sample — can be adjusted on the fly. Dual 1/4" outputs allow you to capture each signal unprocessed or blend them to taste from a single output.
