The XILS-lab PolyM is a virtual instrument plug-in based on the architecture of one of the coolest vintage polysynths ever made. The PolyM takes you back to the formative years of electronic music, when artists such as Keith Emerson, Chick Corea, Herbie Hancock, Gary Numan, and Kraftwerk were pioneering the brave new world of synthesized musical expression. Despite some limitations imposed by its Top Octave Divider oscillators, thanks to its huge modulation possibilities and the endless tweakability of its internal filter parameters, the XILS-lab PolyM is a full-featured synthesizer that nevertheless retains the character of the original machine.
