Solid mic

I purchased this mic a while back, when it was still a silver color and advertised with the perception series, and it has never failed me. I have used it in many live and indie studio situations since, and for $100 you can't beat it. For starting out and familiarizing yourself with equipment and mixing, this mic will do the trick, and it becomes a good backup mic once you expand your arsenal. Definitely recommended
