The perfect small midi controller !

Awesome Midi Foot Controller ! I needed a small midi controller for my pedalboard and this one fits perfectly in my set-up. Easy to use 3 button control offers fast and smooth channel selection and the non-glare LED display is an added bonus. A well made device for a great price !

Ideal make for the PSA unit

I am using this on the PSA 1.1 which interfaces ideally with the unit. Press search mode to go through presets quickly, active to select. Simple to use, probably works on other stuff as well but via "Tech 21" made for the PSA. There is a phantom power feed from the PSA to the footswitch but I am not clear yet if one can remove the battery completely. Also make sure you plug into Midi OUT. Silent fast preset select. Guy complaining of daisy chaining should stop daisy chaining power supplies. Recipe for noise and switch popping, period. Battery lasts through thousands of switches, power shunts after brief delay of time to save power. Phantom power may run unit without battery. Normally I do not use batteries but the drain on this is next to nothing and it may not need it. I noticed the phantom by itself said low battery but I had it plugged into midi IN which was wrong. Got mine for $109 which is very low priced for an active midi LED switch. As usual TECH 21 continues to impress with quality.

Mighty Mouse

Great little controller. I use it to trigger set changes on Mainstage via midi connected to M-Audio Axiom controller (while playing guitar). Love the different workflow options this simple three button device offers. Seems pretty rugged and battery friendly. Love it when the audience members come up during a break and ask who was controlling the sample at the end of the song. I point at the midi mouse (sitting next to my well stuffed pedal board) and they just shake their heads. The funny thing is the Mouse actually makes things simpler rather than more complex (but I don't tell them that...) Has made gigging with a guitar and laptop/keyboard simpler and more fluid. Tech 21 builds pretty great stuff.

Does what it's supposed to...

...however, I would like to see a few changes. Midi jack and DC jack are a bit too close together. Also, when daisy chaining power supply from other pedals, the midi mouse led introduces line noise into signal path of other devices(have to use seperate power supply). Would also be nice to have both midi in AND out, so when making program changes from source, mouse keeps in sync. Would also be nice to have bank change messages incorporated. Overall, does exactly what it is designed for, is sturdy built, and simple to use. Very handy on stage when playing keys or guitar, and don't have a free hand to switch patches.

it is sturdy, well build. I like the feeling of the switch...not hard like MXR, but not soft like BOSS. I did not like that up-down are not next to each other, so I opened the box and switched the cables in the box. it was not anything complicated.
