The Polyend Loop is an 8-track performance looper that lets you record four independent loop tracks, up to 60 seconds each, in either mono or stereo. Additionally, this pedal integrates a 4-track sample-based drum machine and a full-featured sequencer seamlessly into the Loop workflow. And with more than 100 onboard effects, you’ll be able to shape your creations into studio-quality productions. The Loop features Forward, Reverse, and Ping-Pong playback for every loop track, along with independent timing and pitch parameters, enabling you to craft mind-bending varispeed-style effects. Moreover, while the Loop comes well-stocked with a factory library of drum kits, rhythms, and drum samples, this feature-laden looper also lets you record and store your own. The Loop supports comprehensive MIDI synchronization, and it accommodates instrument-level, line-level, and microphone sources, including two simultaneous mono signals. You can also map performance parameters to an expression pedal for hands-free control and load and save samples via the microSD slot. Powerful looping at the core
Every time Sweetwater’s Product Research Team stomped on the Loop, we conjured up an entirely new sonic creation. And it’s no wonder — with this much potent looping power onboard, the creative options run wild. Based on an 8-track performance architecture, the Loop features four audio loop tracks and four sample-based drum tracks in a single standalone pedal. Each of its four independent loop tracks allows you to record up to 60 seconds in either mono or stereo. The Loop lets you independently select Forward, Reverse, or Ping-Pong playback for each loop track. Moreover, you can follow the Project tempo with speed and pitch changes for varispeed-style effects, or you can keep playback and pitch independent for modern transparent time-stretching. Beyond that, the Loop allows you to shape each track in real time, using one or more of the over 100 effects, comprising reverb, delay, modulation, filtering, panning, and a bevy of other sound-shaping processors.
Rhythm at your command
Along with its robust looping capabilities, the Polyend Loop features four sample-based drum tracks and a feature-packed sequencer integrated directly into the Loop workflow. You’ll appreciate this sophisticated stompbox’s deep per-step sequencing, which lets you customize more than 15 drum parameters for each step and chain patterns into longer arrangements. You can record drum samples through the Loop’s Stereo In jack and use them to build original kits and rhythms, or you can take advantage of the extensive factory library, which contains more than 500 drum kits, 350 rhythms, 2,000 drum samples, and 180 loops.
Built for the way you work
Regardless of your individual workflow, the Loop is ready and willing to oblige, allowing you to store up to 1,000 Projects and use bar-quantized Next/Previous changes to build full-fledged arrangements. You can load everything from short samples to complete loops via the microSD slot and save individual loop tracks as WAV files that transfer seamlessly into your DAW-based setup. The Loop offers comprehensive MIDI synchronization, enabling you to send and receive MIDI clock and transport data over TRS MIDI or USB MIDI. Additionally, this potent pedal accommodates instrument-level, line-level, and microphone signals, including two simultaneously. Finally, the Loop features an Expression Pedal input, enabling you to map parameters to an external expression pedal for hands-free control — a must-have for live performances.
