Great amp
I had KB 2. Now i have KB 3 and i am very satisfied with this amp. It sounds very clear. the sound from KB 2 was rather indistinct, but with KB 3 it is full-fledged. it's my rating. many people, many opinions.
Great Keyboard Amp
Gives my Korg SP 280 the zip it needs. I've also used it with a vocal mic and a hollow body electric guitar. Does great on them all.

Using as a stage monitor
Using in a church as a stage monitor for two keyboards with direct out to the PA.Three channels help me mix the output from both keyboards to the PA because one of the keyboards does not have a mono out. Now I have a better idea of how keyboard patches sound than when going through a DI box to the PA and hearing through the stage monitors. I am on stage right and have it tilted back and pointed across the stage so the rest of the band can hear it too.

Only problem is with low organ pedal sounds the 12" speaker starts to flap around if I am not careful with volume. The large PA subwoofers are behind me, so I don't need monitoring to get an idea how that effect sounds.

No complaints from the band on how loud it is like when I used a more powerful Peavey keyboard amp. It is not powerful enough for anything but the smallest venues without going through the PA.

I may upgrade to KB 4 in the future.

Peavey KB3 -great Keyboard amplifier!
I have used the brand new KB3 keyboard amplifier on three gigs, and so far so good. I have several other Peavey amplifiers in my collection- KB300/A, 2 KB4's, and a KB2. I wanted a light weight -medium powered amplifier to use on my jazz gig in a local restaurant. The KB2 worked very well but lacked just a little in the low frequency department. I wanted a little more fat and the JB3 has performed remarkably thus far. The 12" coaxial has done the trick. The only thing they could have done to improve this amp would be to add active electronics just like on the KB2. I have a feeling I'll be using this amp for a long time! Thanks Sweetwater!

Great for small P.A.
Use this amp for a small pa system for church functions. I use a wireless audio technica mic, a shure pg58, and my laptop and it works very well. Once in a while I hook up my acoustic guitar and it works great. Just wish it had some reverb.
