Great Keyboard Amp

Gives my Korg SP 280 the zip it needs. I've also used it with a vocal mic and a hollow body electric guitar. Does great on them all.

Peavey KB3 -great Keyboard amplifier!

I have used the brand new KB3 keyboard amplifier on three gigs, and so far so good. I have several other Peavey amplifiers in my collection- KB300/A, 2 KB4's, and a KB2. I wanted a light weight -medium powered amplifier to use on my jazz gig in a local restaurant. The KB2 worked very well but lacked just a little in the low frequency department. I wanted a little more fat and the JB3 has performed remarkably thus far. The 12" coaxial has done the trick. The only thing they could have done to improve this amp would be to add active electronics just like on the KB2. I have a feeling I'll be using this amp for a long time! Thanks Sweetwater!

Great for small P.A.

Use this amp for a small pa system for church functions. I use a wireless audio technica mic, a shure pg58, and my laptop and it works very well. Once in a while I hook up my acoustic guitar and it works great. Just wish it had some reverb.

Could have been a great amp

My only problem with this amp is it distorts badly when the volume is higher than 1/2 on the master volume. It has an annoying buzz. I've tried vocals, a godin nylon string with guitar synth and a stage piano. Anything lower than middle C and especially a male voice distorts badly. The highs also get muffled. It sounds great a a bedroom amp. But on stage it blows chunks even as a personal monitor using the line out to the mains. The mains we fine but on stage it sounded really horrible.
