Helix Power in a Streamlined Package

Line 6 Helix LT is one of the most powerful, feature-laden, and true-sounding compact multi-effects/modeling units available, especially at such an accessible price. You'll be glad to know that all the HX models and dual DSP power of the original Helix are present and accounted for. You'll even be enjoying the convenience and speed of the Helix user interface, which is becoming legendary for its intuitive workflow. And Line 6 has carefully and considerately carved away extra I/O on Helix LT's back panel, ensuring the unit still has everything you need for your music and nothing that will get in your way.

Legendary Helix processing

At the core of the Helix LT is Line 6's dual DSP HX modeling engine. The HX engine reproduces every minute detail that goes into a great amplifier. Every single detail has been taken into account, down to an amplifier's power supply ripple and tube sag, ensuring you receive an ultra-realistic playing feel and experience. The classic bloom and compression of some amps and the powerful punch of others are all faithfully accounted for. You can also load custom impulse responses to personalize your tone.

Fast and easy programming

Even with a massive amount of routing, recording, and editing power under the hood, Helix LT's touch-sensitive footswitches let you actually edit your whole sound with your feet, without even having to stop playing. And the large 6.2" LCD display rids the system of menu surfing, while giving as much control as the deepest editing software. It's so intuitive to navigate that Line 6 claims you'll have 90% of Helix LT mastered within a 5-minute glance at the full-color Helix LT quick-start guide. Design your rig at the speed of thought.

Make hands-free changes

If there's one thing Sweetwater guitar players know, it's that guitarists love stompbox pedals. We're naturally inclined to want to step on a footswitch and hear the tone we're looking for. Line 6 understands this, which is why Helix LT eschews all the deep and confusing editing that plagues many other pro-level products, for a simple-to-use 12-footswitch interface that gives you all the sound and parameter tweaking you'll ever need. Now you don't even have to stop playing to get comprehensive control of your whole rig.

Streamlined I/O

One of the ways Helix LT has made itself even easier to use is with a streamlined selection of inputs and outputs. You'll still enjoy the multiple effects loops, Variax compatibility, external control of your effects and amplifier, and more that have made the original Helix such a popular tool for guitarists. But having fewer ins and outs allows Helix LT to come in with more compact dimensions, while still offering essentially the same options and control. Helix LT even boasts an onboard expression pedal — a rarity among other compact, competitive multi-effects units.

Helix LT

Very satisfied with my purchase, the Helix LT is an amazing processor. I also own the Helix rack see my review on that also..The Helix LT it is in every way exactly like the regular Helix floor model and the Helix rack , minus some some input output options that quite frankly most people wouldn't use anyway. You also don't get scribble strips with the Helix LT but the large display very easily compensates for any reference you may need. I actually prefer having all of my references and the display anyway. The editing, amp models, the updating, the firmware everything is identical to the Helix Rack and to its counterpart the regular Helix floor model. Buy with confidence coming from a professional musician you can gig with the Helix LT with no issues or concerns or worries. This thing is very comfortable in the company of the Kemper profiler, the Axe effects Etc Buy with confidence you'll be glad you did. And also would like to give a shout out to my salesman Doc who always does a par exsalonce job and taking care of my musical needs and is always top shelf.

Good for just a guitarist

If you're a guitarist that intends on this being your main rig or effects unit, then it's perfect for you! Every amp has a different voice and emulates the sound of the real amp very closely. The effects are also just as amazing! You absolutely will not be disappointed with this thing! Now if you intend on using this as your main daw, you may want to get the floor or rack model, unless you have another interface for vocals. But otherwise this unit is absolutely wonderful! The best piece of gear I've ever bought! And as always, Mark Magdich and the entire sweetwater staff was amazing to work with! Love doing business here!

Fantastic pedalboard

I had high expectations going from pedals to an all in one, and was still blown away by the helix. I can create individual presets for each of my songs with exact sethings and can still tweak presets on the fly. The looper is great as well! All of the pedal models are high quality and there was even a few sounds I hadn't heard before onboard

Helix LT lives to its hype

Besides the plethora of tones, ease of use is an Aplus. No problems making adjustments on the fly during a gig. The performance view is another major plus. So far this has been a win.

10/10!!!

This thing is all its cracked up to be. The interface is super user friendly, and can be figured out in a couple of minuets. It also sounds very very good with my rockerverb. I had origionally bought a hd500x but it broke in two weeks. I sent it back and got this thing. Line 6 did a great job with making an affordable version of its bigger brother and I dont feel like I'm missing out on any features by getting the LT instead of the regular helix. Its litteraly the exact same internally. The only differences are the display screens per channel, two more effects loops, and the touch sensitive switches. But That's stuff I didn't find myself needing anyways. My only "complaint" with the board is the matte finish gets dirty very quickly. I've had mine for a week and its already covered in finger prints. BUT Its night and day how much better HELIX LT is than the hd500x. I have basically unlimited variations of tones at my disposal. So if you are thinking about getting one. DO IT!
