JBOD or RAID - you decide!Your G-Technology G-DOCK ev with Thunderbolt is JBOD-configured at the factory. JBOD (Just a Bunch of Drives) configuration supports both ev hard drive modules as separate volumes on your system. The drives can also be set up as a RAID 0 or RAID 1 array, working as one disk to safeguard against hardware failure, speed up data access, or increase storage capacity, depending on how you combine them. The drives come pre-formatted HFS+ with Journaling and are Time Machine-ready right out of the box.
