Absolutely stellar volume pedal on a budget. Preferred it to the Dunlop DVP4

This is an absolutely fantastic volume pedal. I did not test it as an expression pedal. I use it to control the volume when I run synth pads, and I love the tension (which is adjustable). I found the sweep smoother than even the Dunlop DVP4 tactile-wise, and the volume sweep smooth as well. It's 3 pounds and a touch wider than the Dunlop (although lighter), so that's worth mentioning. It feels incredibly well built. Overall, I highly recommend it for anyone on a budget.

Does the job

For the price, this pedal does the job. It gives me just enough boost to create a difference between chords and single note solos, accenting what i want in the forefront. Really solid build too

Great for organ swells

I'm using this for organ. I need it because I'm using a somewhat convoluted setup to give me a dual manual organ that won't work just using an expression pedal. I needed a volume pedal that a) has a decently large physical range, b) provide smooth volume control, and c) would allow me to set a minimum volume that doesn't completely silence the sound source (since organ swell pedals bring the output down very low at the lowest point but don't silence the sound completely). This pedal fits the bill in all categories. The volume control is very smooth, the minimum volume setting is perfect for organ, and it's got a nice wide sweep that allows for real organ pedal techniques. Lastly, it's built like a tank! The whole body is aluminum, the tension is adjustable, and it feels like a very solidly built piece of gear.

Works ok

Pedal is built very well and smooth. but the volume has a very short range, and sounds more like what a volume dial on the guitar sounds like.
