Dual Delay, with Reverb and Modulation

EarthQuaker Devices' Disaster Transport Sr is a dual-delay pedal with reverb and modulation, designed for one purpose: to deploy a swirling vortex of lo-fi, tape-style echo. Disaster Transport Sr, with its three footswitches and gaggle of knobs, gives you precise control over your delay tones. The top row of dials controls Delay A; the bottom row, Delay B. The former is a 600ms delay with modulation; the latter, a 300ms delay with reverb. You can run both delays separately, in series, in parallel, or in series/parallel. So you can see there's already tons of flexibility here, but to take it a step further, EarthQuaker Devices also provides expression controls for the repeats on Delay A as well as an A-to-B bleed. You can use each delay individually or in tandem.

Delay, reverb, modulation, and more

Straight delay, straight reverb, rhythmic delay, modulated delay, and old-school, tape-style echo - the Disaster Transport Sr nails it all. But you can also use it to create a broad palette of crazy sounds from warped records, clanging flange, smooth chorus, and echoed-out squalls to various other-worldly effects that will take your tracks to new places. If you dig old-school tape delay and grungy lo-fi sounds, you will get your fix every time you plug into the Disaster Transport Sr. EarthQuaker Devices' Disaster Transport Sr is, naturally, a killer guitar effects pedal, but at Sweetwater, we've noted that it's also fantastic on synths, electronic percussion, and just about any sound you want to fatten up and make more interesting!

Extremely Versatile Delay

Wow I could write a book about the versatility, but I will go over its best points. Real time control is what I like best ( No programing and then saving ) true analog operation and shift on the fly control. Sound quality is about as close to a real tape delay as you can get, true warmth and shimmer. The built in reverb between the two delays is pure genius and its easy to control the depth of your sound. Switching is top notch with separate switches for the two delays and a master bypass which is true. Built in modulation is another plus that gives you total control to a multitude of wild sounds that you can create instantly. I can go on and on but I think you should get the Disaster Transport Sr and find out for yourself, a truly unique delay pedal with infinite possibilities. Five stars I love it.

ON THE MONEY

Worth the price!!! The build quality is top notch. The switches are pretty solid as well ; on the harder side to engage if you ask me but that is not a bad thing ; they will withstand a good stomping for sure. The combination of modulation delay and reverb can get you otherworldly pad, chorus and shimmer sounds. Quite Unique . You'd be hard pressed to find a combination of pedals in such a foot print that would offer you this sound. My only gripe is that the reverb cannot be standalone; it works intandem with delay B.
