Great for Creating Clean Tones

I love the tone the CH-1 creates on the clean channel of my tube amp. Its adds to that sparkling, bell like tone from my Deluxe Strat. I even leave the CH-1 engaged on my distorted leads. It adds a great doubling effect when your tapping or chiming on solos. Great pedal, get one.

Great for my high gain solos, with a footswitch i'm not clumsy enough to miss!

This is a really subtle chorus that adds that touch of dynamics to my high gain solo sound. Other chorus pedals are too much for that, i combine this with a Boss TE-2 Tera Echo and it sounds great! I like the boss stomp boxes for my fast metal playing because of the fat foot switches i can hit pedals quickly and with ease. Also i can kick the crap out of them too! Those little silver switches i was missing alot. Don't get me wrong there are better pedals out there, but not for when im playing, my high gain/heavy music. When im playing my Christian rock/Progressive rock tones...I'm using my strymon mobius/bigsky board!

Doing business with Sweetwater is always a pleasure, staff is knowledgeable, pleasant and generally helpful always good.

I bought this back when I first started getting into guitar and learning what pedals were. Now that I've had it for over 2 years I can say that this is the most disappointing pedal on my board. It has one setting that makes the chorus audible. Other than that you can't hear it. It got a little better when I got a new amp and put it through the effects loop, but it's still the only pedal I own that I just don't like. There are much better options out there if you look for another 10 minutes. Check out something from MXR for something around this price. If you don't mind spending a little more then I highly recommend the Catalinbread Callisto or something. Overall it's a snoozer of a pedal. Not worth the time it takes to ship it or the hundred bucks it takes to buy it.

Not just for guitar! Every keyboard player should have a few pedals. This is one of my favorites and also check out the Moog pedals.
