Re-creates Classic CE-1 and CE-2 Modulation Effects

The CE-1 Chorus Ensemble was the first BOSS pedal, and its spacious modulated effects are still coveted by guitarists four decades later. The BOSS CE-2W Chorus Waza Craft Special Edition pedal re-creates the classic sound of the CE-1 (and its successor, the CE-2) using premium all-analog circuitry. Switch between the standard CE-2 sound, as well as CE-1 chorus and vibrato effects, with the flip of a switch. The CE-2W exceeds the capabilities of the original pedals, with stereo output for the CE-2 effects and variable depth for the CE-1 chorus sounds. Add expansive effects to your pedalboard with the BOSS CE-2W Chorus Waza Craft Special Edition pedal!

Waza Craft: a higher art of stompbox design

The Japanese word "waza" means art and technique, an appropriate name for BOSS's premium line of redesigned guitar effects pedals. You see, the pedal collectors here at Sweetwater have seen more than enough special-edition stompboxes that are only a paint job away from the originals, which is why we're so blown away by what BOSS has done with the Waza Craft series. Even in their Standard modes, Waza Craft pedals sound like idealized versions of the originals, offering the same sonic character that made them iconic, but with less noise and more consistent tone. And when you A/B the standard mode and the custom mode, the contrast is nothing short of astonishing.

BOSS CE-2W Chorus Waza Craft Special Edition Pedal Features at a Glance:

A Great Chorus Pedal !!

I cant say enough good things about Boss pedals.I have been using them since they first came out in the 1970's.I still own many Boss pedals from the 70' and 80's that I purchased back in the day. And they all still work great !! My decision to purchase the Wazacraft CE-2W was that I wanted a great sounding chorus for my pedalboard. The CE-2W does just that.Last year I also purchased the Wazacraft DM--2W delay pedal from Sweetwater and I just love that pedal also.A great match along with my CE-2W on my pedalboard. My affection for Boss pedals is because they are built like Army tanks and sound great. As a working musician I want a product that not only sounds great but will last for many years.Boss really comes through with all that. Thanks to Sweetwater and my sales engineer Chris for making my purchase a pleasant experience.

CE 1 and CE2 in one pedal!!

C2w is an upgraded version of C2. Same warmth and definition but with stereo option, and CE 1 option. You are getting the sound of CE1 and CE2 in one pedal. Built like a tank. If you are deciding between finding an old CE2 on Ebay or getting this one, stop thinking about it and just get this one. It is going to blow your mind. It will sound like the CE2 and it is new.

Pretty nice!

I tested it yesterday. I got a fender elite stratocaster 2016 and a Jtm45 with 1960ax cab. I was Blown away by the versatility of this pedal, you can do almost about anything with it, all the configurations are pretty much usable, it's not just for playing nirvana and surf music (as you all know). Im not afraid to say that this is kinda a swiss army knife effects pedal, with pretty simple controls. My amp don't have reverb, and this pedal get even this job done nicely.Take a look in Youtube videos and know, this is good!

I bought for the CE-1 modes...

Because I wanted the circuit in my vintage JC-50 in a smaller package (and to put in front of other amps), but in particular was worried the vibrato wasn't quite up to snuff versus the old monster. I was wrong. The unit is quieter, and I was able to dial in my standard JC vibrato and chorus settings in seconds. Was even able to get very, very close to my old RE-301 Chorus Echo running it in front of my actual Space Echo with a little work. Expensive for what it is (especially when the DM-2W is $50 cheaper), but...if you want it for that one thing, doubt there's going to be better. I am very, very happy
Music background: All sorts of places.

Boss CE-2W Waza Craft

I love Chorus Pedals - But it's a trick effect to get correctly - I have a big selection of pedals so I have options. I just recorded some tracks using this pedal - Love It - I got just what I was looking for within minutes. This will be my first call Chorus Pedal. Highly Recommended.

Sweetwater Advice

Boss CE-2W Chorus

The addition of the vibrato makes it possible to imagine the CE-2W as the only mod pedal you'd ever need for the stage. And if, like so many of us, you've spent your guitar playing life wary of the chorus effect, this classy and kooky modulator may be the one to show you the light....
