Quickly Switch Between Four Instruments
The Radial Tonebone Bumper instrument selector is a multi-instrumentalist's dream come true. Connect up to four instruments to a single amplifier and select between them with a tap of a footswitch. A series of colored LEDs provides at-a-glance confirmation of which instrument is active. A Trim/Drag switch and potentiometer on each input offer gain optimization or load correction. Radial's coveted Class A input buffer ensures top-quality sound, enabling longer cable runs without signal degradation. A separately buffered tuner output makes on-the-fly tuning a breeze, while eliminating unwanted pops and clicks. If you play sets with multiple instruments, the Radial Tonebone Bumper instrument selector will make your life a whole lot easier.

Maximum inputs in a pedal-sized package
If you play in a top 40 band, you're required to pack many different styles of music into each set. And if you're a multi-instrumentalist, you may have to switch between electric guitar, acoustic guitar, banjo, and violin — in the same song! The Radial Tonebone Bumper makes multi-instrument setups easy. Instead of using four separate switches (which give your foot an unnecessary workout and waste pedalboard real estate), you can use a single footswitch that progressively advances through each input sequentially. And the footswitch sequence ignores any inputs that aren't in use, so if you only have two instruments connected, the Bumper will only toggle between the two inputs you're using. Colored LEDs make determining the active input a piece of cake.

Trim/Drag switch offers gain optimization or load correction
Guitarists are all about their tone. That's why the Radial Tonebone Bumper is designed to retain the natural tone of your instrument. Each input features a dual-wafer Trim/Drag switch and corresponding potentiometer. When set to Trim, the switch balances louder sources, such as bass or acoustic guitars with active pickups, with their passive counterparts. This lets you quickly and conveniently switch between instruments without adjusting the level of your stage amp. The Drag setting adjusts your signal's load to replicate the tone and feel of being connected directly to your amp. The guitarists here at Sweetwater have found that the Drag function works equally well with both single-coil and humbucking pickups.
Radial's Class A input buffer ensures top-quality tone
We're huge fans of Radial's Class A input buffering circuit. It lowers the impedance of your signal and reduces susceptibility to noise. This circuit's discrete front end eschews negative feedback, eliminating harsh odd-order harmonics, phase shift, and unwanted sonic artifacts, while permitting lengthy cable runs without affecting your tone.
