Timeless Boogie EQ!

For over 40 years, the 5-band EQ on the Mesa Boogie Mark series has let serious guitar players shape their tone in ways many amplifiers have desperately tried to emulate. This hand-built Boogie Five-Band Graphic EQ pedal gives you that self-same equalizer, right down to the component level, all in a format you can stick on your pedalboard and control on the fly. Each of the Boogie Five-Band Graphic EQ's bands (80Hz, 240Hz, 750Hz, 2.2kHz, and 6.6kHz) gives you the flexibility of +/-12dB of gain, allowing you to easily dial in that classic Mesa Boogie V-Curve. And, of course, the Boogie Five-Band Graphic EQ pedal features true-bypass switching, so your tone is in excellent hands at all times.

Mesa Boogie Five-Band Graphic EQ Pedal Features:
  • The legendary Mesa Boogie Mark series 5-band graphic equalizer in a handy guitar pedal
  • Input and output gain controls provide you with up to +6dB or -40dB of gain staging
  • Sliders at 80Hz, 240Hz, 750Hz, 2.2kHz, and 6.6kHz provide you up to +/-12dB of gain for extreme tone shaping
  • True-bypass switching preserves you tone when the pedal isn't in use
  • Proudly designed and handcrafted in Petaluma, California, USA
  • Important Notice for International Customers: Mesa/Boogie products sold by Sweetwater are intended for use within the United States. We are unable to ship any Mesa/Boogie products outside of the US.

The Missing Link

Unbelievable pedal. As others have noted this is one those pedals that stays on permanently. For best results use in your amp's FX loop. I'm using it in my Trem-o-verb and it has solved nearly all of my tone problems. The classic boogie mid-scoop is exactly what the dual rectifier needs but doesn't have. It makes my Cornford Hellcat start to approach the Mark series tone range (think IIc+ or IV). It has the quality construction you expect from Mesa. It also comes with a battery but I had to replace it immediately because it was nearly dead.

What the TriAxis has been needing!

Purchased to use with an 11 year old TriAxis. Never has it sounded so good! the Dynamic Voice has been mostly useless for me because of the over-boosted upper mids. Was able to dial in an eq curve with the Five-Band Graphic to counteract the Dynamic Voice and make it useful for my taste. Now the eq is always on with one setting, and the Dynamic Voice can be dialed in at different levels in each program. What I didn't expect was how much this curve improves every voice on the TriAxis with or without the DV. Have tried other eq's without much success. This is it.

The always on pedal

The best pedal in the world right here, if you are a Boogie guy. I bought one and loved it, then bought 3 more. I run a 2 amp rig (VH4/Triaxis) and use one in the channel inserts of the VH4 and one from the FX send of the Triaxis and straight to a 2:90 power amp (bypassing the mixer circuit in the Triaxis). Plus, I have a couple of spares for knocking around with on my other amps. The pedal is quiet and the best way to contour your tone. Send/Return levels have a lot of range to handle the signal strength.

Mesa 5-Band EQ Boogies!

This EQ adds just the right tonal options to my guitar setup. Five frequency controls are just enough without getting too complicated. This device is built like an Abrams tank with sturdy, solid construction. It is a little pricey but you get what you pay for.

Excellent improvement to tone

I never played through a MarkV but always hear how much the 5 band improves the Low/Mid response. I'm running it into the front of a lonestar classic and love what it does for channel 2, It really brings out the lower lows and helps tame the upper mids. A little pricey but hey, that Mesa--haha Overall pleased--and as always Theron and Sweetwater rock, customer service is is their game!! Thanks
