LEAF Waveguide
L Class loudspeakers come equipped with an innovative LEAF waveguide. LEAF (Length-equalized Acoustic Flares) waveguides boast uncompromising acoustic performance thanks to their optimized sound paths and internal flares. You get defined, uniform, high-frequency coverage all the way to the back of larger venues without definition. What’s more, the improved coupling of multiple waveguides makes single-array behavior much more coherent, which ensures better audio for listeners. LEAF waveguides also have lower crossover frequencies, enabling improved vocal reproduction and articulation, all while revealing subtle details in the upper-mid and high-frequency spectrums.
RapidDeploy Rigging System
With its intuitive and ergonomic single-operator design, L Class speakers are outrageously easy to deploy. Each speaker comes with a built-in RapidDeploy rigging system featuring short-, medium-, and long-throw splay options to reduce setup and teardown times for flown, ground-stacked, and pole-mounted systems. The fully integrated rigging system also promotes a clean, professional appearance free from unsightly and easily lost hardware.
AWARE
All L Class speakers feature onboard QSC AWARE (Automatic Wireless Array Recognition). With AWARE technology, the speakers use internal accelerometers and infrared communication links to determine essential information. From there, they automatically communicate with the user through the QSC SysNav app and provide a simple, 1-touch array optimization through proprietary DSP algorithms. Operators working with L Class systems can easily apply the correct Ar-Q Array Equalization filters from a computer, a tablet, or any loudspeaker’s Rear User Interface for consistent and repeatable sound in any venue.
SysNav App
Define, configure, control, and monitor your L Class loudspeakers with the QSC SysNav (System Navigator) app. This simple application allows you to apply signal processing to individual loudspeakers, entire arrays, or groups of both. The built-in AIM (Array Installation Modeling) prediction tool helps the user visualize array coverage by positioning virtual loudspeakers on a scale model of the installation space or venue.
Acoustic Linear Phase Design
Finally, the L Class’s Acoustic Linear Phase (ALP) design combines FIR, IIR, and all-pass filters to eliminate common phase-related issues found in most loudspeakers. QSC’s ALP technology delivers a smooth, consistent listening experience and the best sound reproduction for the whole audience. Moreover, ALP improves the system’s frequency response within the coverage angle and ensures each unit maintains the phase relationship of the input signal.
