The Roland Mood Pan is an electronic handpan that has amazing potential for both your meditation mat and your studio desk. Sporting Roland's industry-leading electronic percussion tech, the Mood Pan is centered around nine touch-sensitive pads that are easy to play with your fingers. These pads can coax tones from eight preset instruments, as well as four user slots, across 12 different tunings, which you'll hear clearly via either the Mood Pan's built-in speaker or its headphone jack. You can add further character and ambience to these sounds by utilizing the Control pad or the Effects knob. Furthermore, the Mood Pan features four background music modes, and you can stream music from your computer or smart device via onboard Bluetooth for you to play along with. The Mood Pan can also be used as a MIDI controller along with your favorite music software, and the Mood Pan Plus iOS/Android app makes it a cinch to add user sounds, calibrate pad sensitivity, and much more. Finally, you can power the Mood Pan via USB-C (cable not included) or play for up to five hours with only six AA batteries (included).
