Relaxation at Your Fingertips
Whether it’s for a concert performance or relaxation purposes, Sweetwater percussionists agree that playing Schlagwerk's HP8DS handpan is a riveting experience. Built to feature D major SaBye tuning, the HP8DS churns out a steady, warm tone that is only further amplified by the handpan’s vibra steel shell — and with its long-lasting, tuned-to-scale construction, it’s virtually impossible to hit a wrong note. Included with the HP8DS is a carrying bag and safety cover, designed to keep your handpan protected when you’re on the road or away from home. Finally, when you're not using your handpan, its handsome design will look great as a display piece in your favorite room.

Instantly create beautiful sounds
Like many other handpans, the HP8DS comes with a set of tones in a distinct D major SaBye tuning. This scale blends perfectly with the handpan’s vibra steel build, amounting to a relaxing set of notes that gently pop and wash away in a smooth decay. With a pre-tuned handpan, you don’t need to be an expert musician — any beginner or aspiring handpan player can create beautiful melodies that always end up working well together.
