Suggestions based on Style and Profile
The SSL autoBUS plug-in works by first analyzing your audio and then applying G-Bus compression settings based on your selected Profile and Style parameters. First, under the Profile menu, you have your pick of Acoustic Country, Electronic, Funk, Hip-Hop, Metal, Pop, R&B, and Rock. For each of these genres, you can indicate if you are working on a Full Mix. You can also sculpt the sound of your various mix buses by using the Drum, Guitar, and Vocal profiles. Furthermore, autoBUS's Style menu allows you to define how heavily to apply the processing by selecting from Soft, Medium, or Strong settings. When used in tandem, Profile and Style provide amazing G-Bus setting recommendations that you can then apply, edit, or remove as needed.
