A Lightweight Cart That's Strong Where It Counts!

Got drums, keyboards, PA, or DJ racks to move? Do your fellow band members vanish into the night at load-out time? Here's help on wheels! The compact Rock N Roller R8RT is tough enough to handle 500 lbs. of gear yet it only weighs 27.7 lbs. to make it easy to manage!

The Rock N Roller R8RT changes shape to meet your gear-hauling needs! Its 8-in-1 flexibility allows you to use the cart as a conventional 2-wheel hand truck or a 4-wheel carriage, all with a few quick adjustments. And here's the best part: the R8RT changes from 2-wheel to 4-wheel mode in about two seconds! This cart will quickly become as cherished as your favorite roadie.

The R8RT's frame telescopes easily from 34" to 52" in length. The cart's non-skid frame bed surface resists load slippage. In addition, the folding sides rotate and lock into position by simply pressing release cables. In 2-wheel mode the R8RT's long nose ergonomically pulls bulky loads toward you to make lifting easier. It also features specially designed 8" x 2" R-Trac rear wheels that are extremely strong, lighter than traditional pneumatic wheels, and will never go flat. Polyurethane tread bonded to a polymer hub rolls smooth and quiet.

My back thanks you

We already had a smaller version of this cart. We added this one to make our entire load in/out to one trip. Built very well, easy to use, compact, versatile, and the price is right. Love this thing!!!

Grest Job Here

Heavy duty but light weight. Easy to maneuver.

A must-have! How did I live without it?

I own my own remote recording business, formerly based in NYC. I finally bought an original R8 from my sales engineer Mike Conyers after moving into an elevator building. There is no way I could have done without it, with a very long walk from the elevator to the load-out area of the building. I would be blocking another resident's access, a piece of gear would have been stolen when left unattended, or my back would have protested. Luckily the R8 saved me from all this. I loaded two heavy Pelican 1610 cases, 3 to 4 SKB loaded 4-space rack cases, a heavy speaker stand bag full of mic stands, laptops, etc. in one load. I'm pretty sure I reached or exceeded the 500 lb listed capacity. I find it funny the R8RT replaces the R8's inflatable wheels, which always needed air with the solid tires I did the same a few months into ownership and never looked back!

A true life and back saver!

My only issue with this amazing cart is that it took me so long to get one. The very first time I used it was for a gig on a cruise ship. I had a guitar, amp, pedal board, music stand and gig bag to deal with and I had to move all that from a hotel garage to a large dock to a ship. That journey included three ramps and five gang planks. No kidding! If I didn't have this cart\t to do the heavy lifting the load in and out would have taken me 90 minutes. Of course, I never would have survived that, especially with two herniated discs in my neck. But thanks to the R8RT, I was able to do the whole thing in less than ten minutes. I was going over bumpy and uneven and seriously slanted terrain but the R8RT glided over everything like BUTTER! It's easy to adjust, carries a lot and is a must have for any working musician. The Rock N Roller ROCKS!!!Thanks to my Sales Engineer, Alan. A smooth transaction, as always. Sweetwater is the best.

Rock N Roller is Essential Gear

Every musician who needs to transport gear needs this type of cart and the Rock N Roller fits the bill for me. I'm a keyboard player who needs to move two keyboards, a stand, two powered speakers, a rack with synth modules and interfaces, and a case filled with cords, control pedals, wires and cables, and other misc. gear. I'm not getting any younger and I was tired of making four or five trips back and forth to the car and the stage and the studio so I bought the R8T and now I get it all done in one easy trip. I highly recommend this unit because of it's light weight, it's capacity, and because it is sturdy. I subtracted a half star because of the tricky cable that you need to step on and press to get the bars to fold up or down. It's a bit of a pain until you get the hang of it. All in all I'm very happy with this unit!
