Use this after EQ on my live drum recordings,then limiter so I don't go in the red,just ever so close.It fattens up very nice and I even throw in some saturation/distortion to give my kit that "extra pair".My go to for sure,glad I got this.

Bought this a few weeks back. So far I've only used it on the mix bus but it is pretty amazing. Allowed me to eliminate all my mastering plug-ins except for this and ozone elements. The compressor is very forgiving but it really does an amazing job of controlling transients so I have a nice even mix going into ozone for limiting. Love it!

The results sound amazing, and so easy to use. I highly recommend this product to any studio musician.

Wow! I say that every single time I use it! What a bargain...for this price you get the real 'Child in software form. Amazing results, always, all the time. I use stock comp's in my DAW's: Studio One 4, Samplitude Pro X3 and ACID 8, and while they are stellar plugins', nothing touches the results achieved via Waves PuigChild 660 & 670 comp/limiter. I RARELY recommend plugins but this is essential kit for any budget. Hands down the best out there.

It's so smooth. This thing is the thing everyone needs. No peeking and distortion what so ever. This is as real as a digital compressor can get with a smooth analog feel. It does wonders for vocals no matter what type of mic. I use the CLA limiter,V-Comp, and the Puigchild in that order and it really works magic for my vocals. Friends ask all the time what type of mic am I using ( scarlett focusrite) which is cheap. I can't wait to upgrade my mic to see a even bigger drastic difference. All in all.....good stuff!
