A Masterpiece of Multi-effects Engineering

The MS-50G+ updates Zoom’s time-tested amp, preamp, and multi-effects box formula with a thoroughly redesigned control section for enhanced workflow. Like the classic MS-50G, this pedal sports a high-visibility LCD for intuitive navigation of all 100 effects, including overdrives, delays, reverbs, compressors, modulation effects, and just about any other stompbox sound you could ever need. However, the MS-50G+’s addition of four Cross Key switches and four encoder knobs dramatically simplify everything from selecting your effects to parameter editing to even building up massive multi-patch tones comprised of up to six individual effects. Furthermore, the MS-50G+ also boasts a built-in tuner, Guitar Lab mobile app, and stereo outputs for incredibly three-dimensional delays, reverbs, and chorus. All in all, the MS-50G+ is a seriously comprehensive little unit that covers all your multi-effects needs in a compact, gig-ready form factor.

Explore more than 100 world-class effects

From original Zoom effect creations to the most sought-after sounds in guitar history, the MS-50G+’s vast library of 100 effects runs the stompbox gamut. This pedal’s multi-effects arsenal ranges from overdrives to time-based effects to modulation to filters to compressors — you even get several cutting-edge preamp emulations developed using Zoom’s Multi-layer IR technology. Moreover, the MS-50G+ can run up to six of these effects simultaneously, allowing you to carve out custom presets for stage set lists, recording sessions, and any other 6-string application.

Intuitive encoder knobs and Cross Key switches

Navigating tones and building presets is easier than ever, thanks to the Zoom MS-50G+’s entirely re-designed control section. Sweetwater guitarists appreciate how the added four Cross Key switches make swapping between effects a breeze, providing significantly improved hands-free control. Once you’ve selected your effect, the LCD’s stompbox-specific graphics and four encoder knobs make dialing in as straightforward as it would be on any physical guitar pedal. Planning on taking your MS-50G+ onstage? This pedal’s LCD changes colors depending on your chosen effect category, making navigation efficient and lightning-fast.

Guitar Lab app unlocks enhanced sonic possibilities

While the MS-50G+ comes right out of the box with 100 studio-ready effects, connect your pedal to Zoom’s Guitar Lab app to access an ever-expanding library of new tones to explore. Not only does Guitar Lab offer additional effects, but it also features custom patches for the player who prefers plug-and-play functionality over minute preset tweaking.

Reviews

Great beginner friendly pedal!
When I was looking into pedals I got overwhelmed with the amount of pedals and different effects that are out there. As a newer guitar player I wanted to be able to explore all these sounds but there are too many pedals and I didn't know where to start. I stumbled across the Zoom ms50g+ and it looked like a great starting point. When looking into the pedal I was worried because some people were saying the interface was confusing or complicated but in my experience it wasn't anything I couldn't figure out within my first session with the pedal.
As for effects, they all work properly and to my untrained ears, sound great! Overall this pedal has been a great experience, but the lack of an android app is a little disappointing.
Mid-chain Swiss Army Knife
Droop it in after the distortion and before the effects. Turner, compression, noise suppressor, iconic amp/drive, chorus, delay, reverb. Enjoy!

user friendly
This pedal reasonably priced, is my answer to hook up and play no Matter where I go to just Jam informally without lugging my pedal board plus setting it up, all I need is my practice amp, cables and of course my guitar! The pedal has many different sound combinations with the ability to name and save each chain patch, up to six effect pedals per patch that I would like to use again! Thanks to my sales engineer, James ridings, who was very instrumental in making my decision to purchase the 50g Plus Zoom multi effect pedal. His knowledge, information and thoughts on the 50g Plus Zoom multi effect pedal made it a no-brainer!!

Wonderful little multi effects pedal

As a seasoned player, I'd always dismissed these Zoom pedals as being toylike.

I stumbled across a video on YouTube which got my interest. Then I noticed that ( at this time) they are

Under $.

I took the plunge and placed an order. I'm so pleased with this pedal, with its toylike graphics display.

Once you get your head around how to create a patch, it's wonderful. You can set up say , 3 working patches clean-crouch- overdrive, then you can try some creative mayhem!

The pedal is well constructed. I would even gig with it. Or keep one on hand in case you have pedal failure.

It isn't the highest quality sound, but I would argue that it sounds perfectly good to my ears.

I only have one gripe, and that is the selector switches, you have to be a bit dexterous to change patches. But on a pedal this size? I haven't tried it, but it can be connected to a midi controller.

I would thoroughly recommend the MS 50-G+ or any of this series!

Excellent
Until this version (and the MS=200D+) I had found Zoom products severely lacking in overdrive/distortion. But this time around, all of that has changed - everything sounds really good to me in both units.
