Think bands, not crossovers
As opposed to splitting the entire spectrum with crossovers (the way most multibands work), Pro-MB lets you directly create a new band at the frequency range you want to work on. The cool multiband display clearly shows the rest of the spectrum as untouched. And if you so desire, you can easily snap bands together to re-create a traditional crossover system. Naturally, you also get the usual packet of FabFilter goodies, including precision-tuned controls, MIDI Learn, Smart Parameter Interpolation for smooth parameter transitions, and more.
Multiple compression modes, for superior results with minimum fuss
FabFilter Pro-MB features a unique Dynamic Phase processing mode with the same frequency response as traditional multiband processing, but it only introduces minor phase changes when the gain actually changes, without any latency or pre-ringing. Pro-MB also includes a highly effective Linear Phase mode and the traditional Minimum Phase mode.
