A Classic but in Rosewood
I went into this purchase looking for a guitar to essentially have for the rest of my life. I was unable to demo the Hummingbird, but the Martin dreadnoughts I was able to play at a local shop. Despite this and after much research I chose to give the Hummingbird a shot. First thing you notice (although, it doesn't affect the playability) is how gorgeous this guitar is. Really makes you feel like the instrument is a just as equally a craftsman's masterpiece as a piece of art. And the tones are just so gorgeous you think it's going to melt. The single tone that stands out to me the most comparatively is the richness and fullness of the low end notes on an acoustic. Just pretty. I know it's hard to select a guitar that's on back order (currently and when I bought it) and rarely available in at least my local shots, but I'm so grateful that I pulled the trigger on it despite it being weightlisted. I hope you, future buyer, enjoy this guitar as much as I have and do.
