About Guitar Accessories
Guitar accessories may not be the flashiest part of your setup, but a broken string or a missing cable can end a gig or rehearsal before it starts. Whether you’re building your first electric guitar rig or looking after a favorite acoustic, Sweetwater carries guitar accessories to help you stay focused on the music.
What Guitar Accessories Do You Need?
A tuner, a strap, spare strings, extra picks, and a cable (if you’re plugging in) are common starting points. A gig bag or case helps protect your guitar while in transit. A capo, a stand, a string winder, and a cleaning kit with fretboard conditioner are useful additions. For a fuller list, read our guide to the 10 essentials every guitar player needs.
Acoustic Guitar Accessories
Wood instruments are susceptible to changes in humidity, so a soundhole or case humidifier can help reduce the risk of cracks, warping, and neck movement during dry seasons. A clip-on headstock tuner makes tuning quick and silent, onstage or at home. If you play out, a soundhole pickup can send a signal from a non-electric acoustic to an amp or mixer, and a soundhole cover can help tame feedback on loud stages.
Electric Guitar Accessories
A silent or kill-switch guitar cable can help prevent loud pops when you plug in or unplug onstage. Spare 9V batteries and a daisy-chainable power supply help keep a pedalboard running. A brass slide fits easily in a case compartment if you play blues or country.
A setup tool kit is a useful long-term addition. These kits often include truss rod wrenches, hex keys, nut files, string clippers, and string height gauges, so you can adjust your action, intonation, and neck relief at home or on the road.
Shop Guitar Accessories by Brand
Everyday items such as picks, straps, tuners, and capos are here, along with road-ready gear for your next run of shows. Browse guitar accessories from brands like Fender, Gator, Seymour Duncan, Dunlop, and D’Addario to maintain and customize your rig for rehearsals, recording sessions, and gigs.
