Versatile Power Solution for Up to 12 Pedals

The Truetone 1 Spot Pro CS12 pedalboard power brick can power virtually any combination of guitar effects pedals you can imagine. And its 12 power outlets are fully isolated to minimize noise in your rig. Four outputs are switchable between 9-volt and 12-volt operation, and a very cool variable output (4 volts to 9 volts) gives you extra tonal control over certain pedals - more on that below. We've helped countless guitarists design pedalboards here at Sweetwater, and the Truetone 1 Spot Pro CS12 pedalboard power supply is exactly the kind of solution we recommend for flexibility and reliability.

Truetone 1 Spot Pro CS12 Pedal Power Supply at a Glance:
  • Variable power helps you dial in the perfect tone with certain pedals
  • Switchable voltage for outstanding versatility
  • All the connectors and cables included
  • Brackets included for convenient pedalboard mounting
Variable power helps you dial in the perfect tone with certain pedals

Do you have a certain overdrive or fuzz pedal that simply sounds and feels better when it's using an old battery? Connect it to output seven on the 1 Spot Pro CS12, and then adjust the trim knob between 4 volts and 9 volts until you find the perfect amount of power for the tone you want.

Switchable voltage for outstanding versatility

Outlets three through six on the Truetone 1 Spot Pro CS12 are switchable between 9-volt and 12-volt operation. Individual toggle switches on the bottom of the power brick let you set up any combination of power values. That means you'll be able to power your existing set of pedals, and you'll also be covered when you get new pedals with different power requirements in the future.

All the connectors and cables included

You get all the cables you need to connect your pedals to the 1 Spot Pro CS12: two 26", two 22", four 18", three 12", and one 21" cable. You'll also get three adapters for special-needs pedals with reversed polarity or different jack types. For your battery-powered pedals that don't have a power connection, a 9-volt battery adapter cable is included.

Brackets included for convenient pedalboard mounting

The Truetone 1 Spot Pro CS12 comes with brackets designed for mounting on Pedaltrain pedalboards. It keeps your power supply out of the way for a neater setup and more room for effects pedals.

What is Certified Open Box Gear?

At Sweetwater, we're so picky that what we call "Certified Open Box" is actually better than what most music retailers sell as "new" gear! Our gear hasn't endured hundreds of people a week plunking away at all the keyboards, fumbling through Stairway to Heaven on every guitar or playing with every fader and knob on a mixer or control surface.

Certified Open Box (also known as a demo) means we’ve had it out of the box for our YouTube channel, displayed at events, tested in our studio, or maybe it was in a customer’s hands for a few days and isn’t ‘factory fresh’ as a result. Every Certified Open Box item we sell has Sweetwater’s 2-year Total Confidence Coverage™ warranty and has been tested and verified up to ‘new’ specs by our factory-authorized technicians to make sure it’s in perfect working order before we ship it to you.

When you buy a Certified Open Box item at Sweetwater, you get:
  • 2-year Total Confidence Coverage Warranty™!

Reviews

What can I say that has not been said before!
I was hesitant for a long time because my 1SPOT daisy chain was working problem free for a long time.

Then I decided to put together a board with 9 pedals which the daisy chain did power. The unfortunate side effect of some of my digital pedals started producing a constant high pitch noise that was barely noticeable but annoying.

I pulled the trigger and got the CS-12. I couldn't be happier. All my pedals have the power they need, and a completely quiet board with all the pedals off.

If you are hearing weird noise from your board with all your pedals off, do yourself a favor and upgrade. Even if you don't have 9 pedals to power (they make smaller power supplies with less outputs).

My only complaint is that it will not fit under my current board. Not the fault of the product so I no stars will be removed

Should have bought this years ago. It's so quiet now!!
I have been using an old pedalboard supply that I have had for many years. Like 25. Probably one of the first of its kind. Limited on what it can drive. I think maybe 500mw total. Not isolated, so some things create noise when attempting to connect them to it. Worked ok for basic analog pedals, but my wireless was mega noisy, and the Vocalist had to have a wall wart in order to even power it. I fought this for years by shoving extension cords and wall warts under the board top level. Messy. Hated it every time I had to service something. This board is made out of a piece of plywood that used to be one of my kitchen cabinets! Haha! I had some issues with the board lately, and you guys know like I do, sometimes it's time for a teardown and redo. Well, I was fed up with these wall warts all under the board, so I started shopping. Most inexpensive ones won't run that Vocalist and the ME-20 was noisy on my old one, so I went with the nuclear option here. When I received it, I was impressed with all the connectors available and the quality of the unit. It neatly hides under the upper tier of the board too. When I flipped the switch on? I'd never heard this thing this quiet! Like...ever. In the past, even with the isolated warts, I was still apparently picking up some noise from the adjacent warts and AC electrical connections. The ONLY thing I could hear now without playing was the hiss from my bass' preamp. Holy toldeo. I had no idea how noisy my stuff actually was till I installed this. It also powers the entire board with ease, including the Vocalist and does it quietly. No more wall warts period, just a standard IEC connector which eliminates several points of failure. That's it. ONE power connection. There's enough outlets and juice to run a secondary board for those gigs where I need my looper as well. It's not cheap, but it definitely will improve your tone, and if you ask me, totally worth the scratch. If you can get by with less outlets, there is a model below this one that might work for you as well. I liked that I could power my wireless of 12v, although it can run off 9 as well. Having the AC 9V is nice too. I have a few things that I could use this on, and it's nice to have the flexibility even though I may never use it, or the 18V outlets.

I'll also point out that this will absolutely streamline your setup. I have a soundcraft digital mixer (no physical controls) in a rack, along with a TC BAM200 micro amp on a rack inside of it that's always connected to the mixer, and always powered up when the rack is. At the gig, I simply run a cord from my board to the amp, plug up the speaker, plug this supply in, plug in and turn on my wireless, and my rig is ready to play. Just like that. Work smart. Not hard. This also declutters the board significantly which is a big plus and makes a troubleshooting issue EASY. It always looked like (and was) a clusterf with all the warts shoved everywhere and a failure point at a gig could take minutes to find that sometimes you don't have.

A must buy if you use pedals and don't like noise or cable mess. I was skeptical. Not anymore!
Great versatile Power Supply
This is the second Truetone Power Supply I have used on my pedalboards. I love the number of isolated outs and variety of voltages and current ratings. I was trying to daisy chain a simple 1 Spot with many pedals but had noise issues with a couple of digital pedals. Now my pedalboard is dead quiet. Highly recommend.

The Best Brick a Baby Bass Board can Bear!
So I had a regular little One Spot daisychain unit running power to my bass pedals on a makeshift server-shelf-pedalboard, but once I added the envelope filter, it was one too many for the noise threshold, apparently, and the POG was bleeding through the whole signal. I had this little 20" x 8" three-rail entry-level pedalboard setup I had grabbed on sale somewhere, and I decided to hot-rod it way beyond its intended use case. There was no room underneath the slightly-tilted chassis, so I just got me a One Spot Pro and mounted it on top, through the magic of Dual-Lock.
This completely solved the noise issue and also gave me expansion options to power a looper or something off to the side, should I need it. It's overkill, but it's fabulous overkill which doesn't weigh down the board as much as you'd think. I love the positioning of the modular power cord jack, making the entire board a lot more utilitarian for quick stage setups.

Clean and quiet. Wish I had bought one sooner.
I put off buying the CS12 for over a year. After all, what joy is there in buying a relatively expensive thing that doesn't make sound? But after installing it to replace a daisy chain power setup, what a difference it made! Having the x2 18VDC outputs was great for my OCD and headphone amp and the other nine 9VDC outputs give me more than enough current for the other pedals with a lot of capacity left over for future expansion. The included brackets are for Pedal Train boards. My board is from On Stage and you see how one of the the brackets matched up perfectly on the center support. For the other side, I had to use standard hardware store L brackets drilled to match the smaller holes on the CS12. End result was very sturdy.
