Lehle P-Split III High Impedance Signal Splitter Reviews
Whether you’re playing bigger stages or just want to get that “best of both worlds” tone, you know what a great dual-amplifier setup can do for you. But if you want both amps to sound their best you need a signal splitter that's built for the job. Lehl’s P-Split III maintains the integrity of your signal, while its transformer-isolated outputs eliminate pesky hum. You even get phase-reverse and ground switches, so you’re ready for action in any venue. The P-Split III works with both hi-Z and lo-Z signals, giving you the clean, clear, and reliable performance you demand. We at Sweetwater have found this box to be useful for balancing signals for longer cable runs and even re-amping in the studio. Best of all, it’s completely passive, so there’s no power required.

Life Saver, Big punch for a small box
I had two Marshall Amps stacks going. I was getting such bad noise, signal loss on one amp. It just sounded horrible. Tried new cables, Isolated plugs, Different A/B box, different power conditioners and Sweetwater was trying to help me also. It really did sound like my two transformers were fighting for dominance.
Then I thought lets try this, can't hurt.
WELL all problems solved with a flick of a button. Not only that, I was able to check my phase.
If you have this problem, I recommend this little box 10000%
Great Splitter
Works as advertised, great splitter, no hum. Well worth the money.
Excellent Tool
I wished to split my guitar signal between two amps. I wanted a splitter with output isolation and phase reversal, that didn't need power. The Lehle P-Split was a perfect fit. It did not introduce any perceptible noise or signal loss. This splitter is well worth the extra cost.
Worth the cost
This box is amazing...I play a Fender Jazz and split the signal to two Ampegs. Instantly silenced my buzz. My Ric 4003 has never been quieter. If you're running one signal into two amps, buy this device. You're welcome.
Perfect
I have the 2525H, SV20H and their matching 2x12 slant cabs. Been wanting to explore them together. Play around with some wet/dry maybe but nothing overly complicated. Splitting them with a stereo pedal sounded great but the SV hummed. I knew going in I needed a splitter anyway. I'd eyed Lehle many times shopping here. Wasn't needing an A/B. Just split my signal and do it right. The P-Split nailed it. Noise is gone and to my ears and feel it's like I'm plugged into each amp as they were single. I can't tell any signal loss. After the initial dry check I threw my Echoplex MXR after the P-Split into the SV breaking up, JHS Reverb into the Jubilee's rhythm channel which was cleaner with my EP Boost before the Splitter hitting both amps. Wow!
Exactly as advertised. Splits your signal into 2 exact copies. Has the hum fixed plus you can check your phase. My initial test for pedals before and after showed no issue from a split signal. I am really glad i got this. Reasonably priced too.
Silence 2.0
I get a nasty ground loop hum when I run my guitar signal chain into two different tube amps. I just insert this anyplace in my chain and this thing completely kills the ground noise without changing my sound. What more could you want from this? Its also built like a tank. I like that it has the flexibility to handle balanced signals as well, though I haven't needed that yet.
Gives you silence!
I bought this so i could split my guitar to two amps and thought the isolator would be an added benefit… this passive device made my setup dead quiet without impacting tone!
Its unreal how amazing the sound of silence is! That and the ability to run two amps or record and you have a great tool!
The Best Splitter You Can Buy
This is, absolutely, the best splitter out there. I tested about all of the best ones in the market, and this one came out on top. I was surprised by how clean and transparent it is. Others add noise and attenuate the signal. This one adds no noise, no color, no attenuation. It's literally as advertised: a perfect split of the original signal, through both outputs! This product is serious quality in a league of its own. I don't know how they did it, but they did! Thanks Lehle and Sweetwater!
The best option for eliminating hum
This is the only thing I have been able to find that eliminates hum between my Helix and my amplifiers while keeping the signal pure.
All other "hum eliminators" completely destroy the tone.
Lehle P split.
Actually this is my second one of these splitters.. I've always kept back ups for everything. Things happen out there, sometimes out of ones control and I don't ever want to be without something necessary. The beauty of this splitter is that it is passive, no power supply and bottom line, it works fantastic. Since amplifier manufactures have made it increasingly difficult to connect two of anything nowadays, there's not much choice anymore but to use something as the Lehle splitter. I have tried some other devices in the past, and there is always an issue of sorts. The Lehle had the smarts to deal with a phase problem and the ground issue. Two amplifieres are always better than one, and have always used two since the 1960s. Lehle has given that back to me and they are very helpful in regards to there products and customer service. Just as Sweetwater is. Two great companies indeed. Thank you Lehle and Sweetwater.
