4-way Split, Endless Possibilities

The One to Four Splitter is another useful invention brought to you by the mad pedal scientists at EarthQuaker Devices, designed to excite every fiber of your pedal-chain being. As the name implies, this stompbox-size creation takes your guitar’s input and multiplies it to four separate outputs to fulfill every conceivable desire for your dream rig. Regardless of where the One to Four Splitter is placed in your rig, you’ll experience superb signal clarity regardless of cable length, thanks to its buffered circuitry consisting of a high 1-Mohm input impedance and low 100-ohm output impedances. The use case possibilities are endless, according to Sweetwater’s guitar players. You can drive multiple amps at once, create complex parallel setups, and even simultaneously multitrack your favorite amp and your direct guitar signal straight to your DAW. Unlimited guitar signal routing opportunities await with the EarthQuaker Devices One to Four Splitter — let your imagination run wild!

Reviews

Just What I Needed
This EarthQuaker Splitter is a simple device with a single input and four outputs. I run my guitar out to four effects boxes and then to separate inputs on my mixer allowing me to adjust the level of each effect. I don't like to daisy-chain my effects boxes and this EarthQuaker Splitter gives me excellent control of each effect ... my guitar sounds better than ever. I never hesitate buying from Sweetwater ... I always get good advice and personalized service.
Music background: Lots of live gigs in my youth ... music is now an obsessive hobby.
The buffers alone are worth the $99

This pedal is a no brainer for any basement/bedroom enthusiast or a studio professional. As I said in the title, the buffers alone are worth $. Try and find just a buffer that meets the 1M ohm input impedance to 100 ohm output spec for $ or under. Now add in four outs?! The four outputs allow for so much-I would refer you to EQD website and check out the videos on how they use it. All in all, I have to nail down the point that this is a quality buffer for $. It just happens have to have four outputs. Play one of your guitar compositions in stereo (using two of the outputs) as you would normally play it and use a third output to a DI box then to your DAW. Now you can do all sorts of re-amping and IR trickery. I was really impressed on how the higher frequencies had been restored using this utility pedal. Absolute night and day difference in the clarity of my clean signal. It's a permanent mainstay on my studio board. Thank you EQD!
