The shockmount has to be one of the coolest looking items in the studio. Such visually soothing geometries on the end of the boom like the web from a 1950s robot spider suspending your mic in the ether. That cool, old school look is formed by the suspension bands. Those bands isolate the microphone from the stand to prevent your super sensitive condenser and ribbon mics from picking up floor vibration. Anybody who's ever set up a recording studio in a warehouse in an industrial zone knows how important shockmounts are.

Unfortunately, shockmounts often break and get lost. That's just life. Fortunately We have you covered. We have exact match replacement mounts for a wide variety of the most popular microphones. Need something for that prized odd duck you picked up at the flea market sans mount? No worries. We have a variety of top quality universal mounts that work with most microphones. In fact, make sure you go ahead and pick up a spare or two because our universal mounts can be used in a pinch when the one that came with your mic gets stepped on during session setup.

What if you have your original shockmount but the elastic suspension bands have given up the ghost? No problem - we carry replacement bands specifically for many models as well as standard band sizes that can be used to rehabilitate just about any mount. That's right, your days racing home from the session to snag the rubber bands out of your friend's man-bun are over!

We also have specialized shockmounts to keep in your arsenal that open up a variety of non-standard placements. Want to suspend a small diaphragm condenser right in the center of the bass drum? We have one of those. Want to mount a mic right on the rim of the kick mounted tom without catching the vibrations from the pedal? We have that. Need to isolate the shotgun mic from from top of your video camera? Or perhaps your partner is shooting the video while you get in close on the audio with an isolated pistol grip mount. Yep, We have those, too.

In addition to the various after market mounts and replacement parts, we've put together some great bundles. While you're picking up that mount, you might as well get a great deal on bundle that includes a tripod stand and high quality XLR cable. Or kill two birds with one stone by picking up a shockmount with pop filter!

It seems like microphone manufacturers are constantly adding variations and extra designations to their model numbers. Even if you are pretty sure which one you need but your mic model is a little different from the one listed, don't hesitate to give us a call. Our amazing Sales Engineers will be able to take your exact model number and give you a definitive answer on which shockmount is required. It never hurts to double check!
