I have a few of these shockmounts... a couple purchased in kits with the acoustic filters, and the others with SE2200 mics. They are pretty good shockmounts that are enjoyable to use, particularly for heavier mics. The twist mechanism can be a bit fiddly and I find I always take a scrape or two loosening it. You have to tighten firmly to get enough friction on the mic. I use them mostly for drum overheads where the mic is not really in danger of falling out, but I'd definitely be wary of using them inverted on a guitar cab. I prefer them to the typical cheap shockmounts that come with lower end condenser mics out of China.

The isolation pack shockmount and pop filter combo could be better. I bought it for the X1-R mic. The mic has a very short barrel handle. It fits into the shock mount and you have to twist a tightening ring on the mount. However, when I received the mount, I didnt see that a spare shockmount suspension band was placed at the bottom of the space where the mic fits in. That prevented the mic from fitting in all the way. The tightening ring wasn't able to grab the mic barrel securely. The tightening ring is the only thing that keeps the mic in the mount. I didn't know this. The mic fell out and hit the floor. A RIBBON MIC! Fortunately the mic survived thanks to my shag rug.

Besides the rather dubious mic clamping system, the pop filter mount is a bit difficult to adjust. Think cable tie locking mechanism with a lever to release the filter and adjust the height.

The threaded socket that attaches the shockmount to a mic stand is not deep enough to thread completely onto my multi mic bar. The mount hangs loose. Probably a flaw of the mic bar. I solved it by placing a washer on the mic bar bolt.

All in all, the shockmount works alright but could be better.

I was really excited for this shock mount (bought for the sE x1 A condenser mic), and it arrived super quick just like everything else from sweetwater. Unfortunately, the part of the mount that screws & secures the mic in place cracked the second time I used it. Love the mic, love sweetwater, but the manufacturing, and the use of incredibly flimsy material, for this mount was really disappointing.

This thing works really well. Hangs onto the mic well, stays upright, lots of movement possibilities. My one gripe is that the pop filter can only be attached directly opposite to where the shock mount attaches to your mic stand. If your mic stand will always be right in front of you, this is not an issue. With my setup, my mic stand is off to the side and extends to in front of me. You can technically reposition it so the mic itself is sideways so the pop filter can remain between you and your mic, but that still doesn't really work for my setup.

The SE Electronics isolation pack is an effective, convenient and attractive all in one kit. Only concern is the fear of breaking the pop screen lock tab that allows adjustment from the base.

Got this with the bundle and it's a great mount. The pop filter was awesome
