Reviews

A Useful Tool In The Arsenal
This mic is kind of a two trick pony. I did a deep dive into the history of it and compared it to vintage versions of this same model as well as a few others. The one trick that everyone knows is harmonica. Its pretty much the defacto harp mic without getting into the weeds. However, it does the LO-FI thing really well. If you're looking for some textured background vocals that wont step on the main vocal, this can really work well. Only reason I didn't 5 star it is because the volume knob takes the place of the stand mount which is a bit annoying. There are 3D printed clips one can buy or make to be able to put this mic on a stand without having to re-wire it, but it shouldn't have to come to that. Out of the 2 things the mic can do, having no mounting option makes one of those two things very difficult. Other than that though, the mic is solid. Since Shure hasn't changed the body design, you can easily mod the mic to use vintage elements if the desire strikes without too much effort (would need a 3rd party grommet to mount it since the new version uses a wildly different capsule. Overall though, the mic does the thing, and it does it the way we want it to. Thats a win!

Exactly what I wanted
My harmonicas sound great theough this little mic!
Music background: Started playing music in 4th grade (1967) and still playing today. I played sax, piano, farfisa organ, bass, guitar, drums, and bassoon in grade/high school. Studied music on college, and have played in churches, rockcountry bands, jazz ensemble, and varie
Excellent for harmonica
DON'T USE A VOCAL MIC TO RECORD HARMONICA.

Back in the day I played with an awesome blues harmonica player that used a Green Bullet mic (bless his soul.) The guy explained this was a great mic to get that blues-grit. Some time later when I started doing home-made recordings, I picked up this mic to add harmonica here and there and it worked great. I'm just a mediocre harmonica player that puffs into it every now and then but this mic is awesome. Even if you don't play blues, this mic sounds great on folk harmonica style. You can't go bad with the Green Bullet.
Music background: Always learning.
Classic Sound
I purchased this mic for nostalgia but have to say it's a great mic. I also have the Hohner Harp Blaster and I can say that I do see me using both mic's on a regular basis. The Shure Green Bullet is a darker and warm tone that works great for that Chicago blues sound. I highly recommend and if you do order it, Sweetwater is definitely the place to get it.
Perfect
Great mic for a great price from a company that does what it says just in time for a gig thank you Sweetwater!!!!
Music background: It's a long way to the top of you want to rock and roll
