I remember outfitting my first professional studio and feeling as though I was at the mercy of unknown forces that may or may not have helped me attain professional radio-ready recordings. I have never forgotten how helpless I felt then. I want my customers to get what they need in order to get the results they need... every time, the first time.
Performed at the NARAS Songwriting Convention as a finalist 2 years running in Durango, CO. On one of those nights I was asked to dinner by my 10 co-performers. I was the only one at that table without multiple Grammies.
At age 12, when I wanted to record my original music compositions, there was no consumer or prosumer recording equipment available. Multitrack recording was something only high-end recording studios did. I was multitracking in my bedroom in Chicago with a Grundig and a Webcor reel-to-reel, a classical guitar, a Danelectro 12-string, bells, ukelele, a Fender Bassman amp, my best friend, Rick, my parakeet, a splicing block and leader tape.
I was incorrigible in middle school and high school: Rather than write term papers or take tests, I wrote, performed and recorded my own musicals and plays which I presented in class. Half of these presentations were in French.
For my customers at Sweetwater, if you are just starting or if you are a seasoned pro, I want to give you an experience that you have never had before. I want your Sweetwater experience to be like hitting a home run with the bases loaded in the All Star game of your life.

Greg did a great job helping us find the perfect gift for our daughter for Christmas! She was hoping for a ukulele for Christmas, but the one Greg found for us is unique to her We cannot wait until she opens it! Sweetwater will now be our first stop in finding our music needs. Thank you!

Greg - I just wanted to send you a quick and big "Thank You" for your outstanding knowledge and customer service in assisting me with my Martin purchase. The D-15 is everything I've hoped for and everything you've said it would be. I've wanted a Martin since I was 18, and I know I'll play this one till I die, then hand it down to my daughter, who also plays. As you know, I rarely purchase instruments, but I will certainly work with Sweetwater should I need any service or maintenance. I will also recommend you, personally, to anyone I come across that is looking for a new guitar or outstanding service. I know excellent salespeople (like you and me--remember, I sell Chevys) are hard to find. Thank you again, Greg. I really appreciate it.

Thank you so much for referring Greg to me. I have been fooling around with guitars since 1961 in four states and through three major record labels, and he is without a doubt THE BEST guitar and amp professional I have ever encountered and a nice guy to boot! He gave me straight easy to understand answers and not just the usual salesman highest price option when that was not the best. And on a couple of questions he did not know the answer to he got back to me instead of the all too often response of making something up. I bought an acoustic amp from him, an option that I had not considered.

My recent purchase was my first experience at Sweetwater. I found it to be very professional. Greg, you are very knowledgeable and provided sound direction regarding the products needed to address my situation. I immediately contacted my musician friends during my drive back to Indianapolis and expressed how positive my experience was and how impressed I was with your facility to include the restrooms which were clean. I am very happy with my purchase and anticipate making future purchases.
