Reviews

EXCELLENT FOR MY NEEDS
I've been using a set of Shure 215's for a few years now with no issues other than them being a basic, fairly decent IEM.

Was looking to upgrade and as expected, IEM's are an endless rabbit hole.
Was considering a triple driver IEM and ran across these on a promo pricing. So I ran the gammit.

I'm an acoustic only with vocals musician that typically am a solo guy most of the time. I've ABSOLUTELY NO need for systems with 8 and up drivers going on. Never mind those IEM's simply don't meet my budgeting abilities.
Never the less, thought I'd take a shot at these. Couldn't be happier for my needs and budget. I was willing to spend and saw the promo. Saved a ton of dough.
As a solo/duo/trio acoustic guy, these puppies nailed it down really well. EXCELLENT clarity for sure. Grand headroom no doubt. Midrange and highs are sweet and quite well balanced all through lows to highs with lows being punchy and clear. Not an excessive sense of overkill in the lows.
If you're looking to IEM a huge drum kit or an 8 string bass to bottom the world out in low tones, these may not be for you. You'll need 8+ drivers for that anyway. Lol.

Overall? Really happy with them for my needs. I'm super picky in general about high quality audio. I'd rather hear a thousand cats climbing chalkboards with superb audio than hear Celine Dion with lousy audio.

That's my best attempt to at the very least affirm to acoustic solo/duo/trio players know that you can't go wrong here.

Again. I'm super picky. If I'm not hearing in my ears what my vocals and mic are doing with great discrimination? I'll button up and roll towards the house.

To reiterate headroom?
LOADS OF IT. These puppies are NOT stifled and or struggling at all.

As for the few reviews with complaints about durability? I've no clue yet. But they sure seem as durable as any.
My advice those people are this.
You're drivers likely won't quit you if you'd just keep your ears and USM's clean. Keeling IEM's in a case is fine. But stop wadding them in a knot like you do the rest of your cables and case them in a manner that's there is no pressure from closing it on the connections. I see this being done to headphones and IEM's and it irritates me to no end.
There a finely made commodity and piece of f gear. Treat them as they deserve? And I expect many years of use.

Very impressed
I purchased these monitors and these were my first experience using in ears. The sound quality is quite good, and the isolation works well. I would purchase again.
Music background: Drummer for 25+ years
Distinct clear non-muddy excellent choice
The quality build is exceptional and the sound is distinct and not muddy. There is a very good sound isolation so if live drummers are heavy on the cymbals and others crank up their 15" monitors you can use these to save your ears and set them to a comfortable volume. Or if you want these to get loud they will pump out the volume too.

This is an excellent choice stepping up to a dual driver IEM with the sound quality you would expect from Westone.

Perfect for my setup
My use case may be a bit different than others: I'm a therapist working mostly by video. Having a big set of cans on my ears was getting distracting for both me and my clients during sessions. So I chose to go with IEMS, because they look better visually, and also because they give me more opportunities to compensate for bad equipment on my client's end of the conversation.

These IEMs in particular are comfortable and barely noticeable. The wires are invisible on-camera, the isolation is very good, and the sound is what I was looking for -- in the vocal ranges in particular the sound is quite even: nothing boomy or tinny or thin; a nice even layer of sound.

I've done some critical listening to music with them and they're pretty good there, too. But my DT 1990 Pro's are better for that.

These IEMS are solid, though, and I'm glad I got them.

IEM
Totally pleased with tone, quality of these IEMs only concern I have is the wire gauge Very light, replacements rather expensive IMO
Happy with the overall product
