Hmm, not bad.

My initial need was for micing a Peavey Bandit 65 Solo with an upgraded Eminence EM12N. My gear is less than steller, but you could say it gets the job done. I purchased this mic, because I couldn't afford the Sennheiser MD 421 II, but Matt swore by this mic. I can't say I'm disappointed by it. Had some issues with up close micing, but that's probably more so because I'm a noob at this. I wound up using this mic in my UX2 to record some vocal tracks in Acid Music Studio 7 and it did not disappoint! In fact, the mic picks up the lightest of handlings, but it got the job done! Only reason I felt 4.5/5 stars was suitable, was because I expected a amp micing and haven't achieved it, it. The cable is definitely quality. The stand looks nice, but the mic droops, while on the clip. Not something I'm picky about and there's simple fixes to that. Over all, pretty good package for the money. Hey, I needed a stand on the cheap and I got one. You could say it holds its' own.
