Reviews

They are fine for the price

Im coming from sen ie200, and using the dt990 pro headphones, id say they are good for Vocalists and midrange focused instruments. Mids could be a little more potent, and i understands the comments about scooped kids, i think they are fine for the price.

Not impressed at all
I'm not sure what the eq curve setting is set on, but as a drummer I'm not a fan. These sound dark and slightly muddy. I'll keep these for gaming or a back pair. I'm going back to my KZ10 pro's.
I’m so disappointed..
First off I will update this review if anything significant changes but let's get into it. I bought these for a reference IEM to replace my Shure SRH 840s which are aging. I wanted IEMs because I wanted better isolation for live sound mixing and a no nonsense fairly flat IEM that would sound at least as good as pair of $ over the ear headphones. Maybe I was asking too much. I figured that Apple AirPod Pro 2's sound fairly good at $ a pop and hoping for at least for that quality or near it. Sadly I got cheap earbud quality sound for $. The mids are kind of scooped, bass is boomy and top end is cloudy and harsh between like 3-5 KHz. To be fair I only burned them in for like an hour with pink noise and then gave them a go but I don't think these things will get much better. I'm super disappointed with my purchase right now. They get one star not for build quality and fit (because those are good) they get one start for boasting a flat-ish response and flashing the world class UE reputation and making a terrible sounding product in my opinion and then charging $ for pleasure of that experience. I was hoping if these were decent I was going to move up to the UE Reference Remastered but this purchase is making me rethink that. Then again maybe I got a defective pair? Who knows..all I can do is talk about the pair I have. Once again, if all the sudden these things start sounding great I'll update.
