Reviews

This chorus is turning into an ‘always-on’ pedal!
I am amazed at the price of Behringer pedals given their high quality. I picked up this Ultra Chorus based on some videos. I've never had one but at this price you feel pretty good about experimenting! Now, it sits alongside my Cali76 compressor as my second 'always-on' pedal! Amazing! Between the Cali76 making everything bold and ring out, and a light touch on the chorus settings making it all shimmer, I sound better than I have a right to! Will not play without this pedal ever again. Try it!

A nice chorus regardless of price considerations
I am a sucker for chorus effect on guitar. This is likely due me growing up in the 80's when chorus was king. Anyways... I primarily play with direct in tools now (POD GO and Iridium) but wanted to put together a simple little board around a couple of my keeper pedals into a 1 watt Wangs VT-1H, for jamming at the house. I purposely left room for chorus and after having good experiences with several Behringer pedals, I gave the UC200 a chance. I am glad I did! The pedal sounds great! In fact, most guitarists hearing it would believe it was a $100+ pedal. Clean - no noise. Not quite lush enough (-1/2 star) however, it is more than capable of providing usable, smooth and subtle chorus effect. Yes, the plastic casing feels cheap but as long as you don't run over it with your car it will be fine I'm sure
Nice creamy sound
I like the smooth sound especially for the price

Something, something ... bang for bucks
I did this sniznit.

Seriously, I hope Behringer keeps these pedals low-priced for a long time. They're showing the competition that a few resistors, transistors, a few knobs and a button shouldn't cost an arm and a leg.

And how does it perform? Beautifully. I also own the Space-C Chorus by Behringer, and while this pedal is not as buttery smooth as that one, for the price, it's pretty freakin' amazing. You have a wide range of rate and depth here so you can set a low depth with a fast rate for a nice rotary-type effect or do the opposite and get a lush, swirling chorus. This one's a no-brainer kids.

I tried to post a video so you could hear it, but Sweetwater only allows YouTube links. I guess they don't like selling stuff.

Shimmer Glisten Shine Sparkle
I think one guy reviewing said he'd just leave it on all the time. I can't agree with that literally, but I sure do understand it. Pretty chords and all I'm using is a Behringer Compressor in front. That's directly into my self made Fender Deluxe amp. (Just saying I know what MY tone is.) The range is almost a moot point, because as a delicacy this thing really delivers-and that's what I like best about a chorus. Four knobs make operation sensitive to taste, as well as offering a decent range in each category. I'm getting no noise and nothing like hiss unless I max the tone knob. I also ran it post my overdrive and my distortion (built courtesy of Wattkins forums) and yeppers! Again it's just this very nice machine that delivers sweet effects that not only don't interfere with those hot tones, they help Definition remains. Even the edge of your pick can pop harmonics all over the board. Esp. with distortion--you lean towards going nuts. It's not just prettification, it's technique responsive and well... ha! really a great deal.
