Hit the Stage with Wireless In-ear Monitoring

Enjoy the freedom on stage that in-ear monitors provide, with the Xvive Audio U4R4 wireless in-ear monitoring system. Connect a line-level monitor mix from a return on your stage snake (or from a mixer, music player or computer) to the U4R4 plug-on wireless transmitter, then connect your choice of headphones or in-ear monitors to the compact receivers — four receivers are included. A large volume knob makes it easy to make volume adjustments without looking down at the receiver. And with five hours of battery life, over 90 feet of wireless range, and less than 5ms of latency, Sweetwater can highly recommend the Xvive Audio U4R4 in-ear monitoring system for band applications in small venues.

Xvive Audio U4R4 Wireless In-ear Monitoring System Features:

  • 2.4GHz wireless in-ear monitoring system with transmitter and four beltpack receivers
  • Plug-on transmitter with XLR input for easy connection to a return on your stage snake
  • Over 90 feet of range (with clear line-of-sight) is perfect for small clubs and venues
  • Less than 5ms of latency for distraction-free performance
  • 5 hours of battery life, plenty to get you through a show
  • Large knurled volume knob makes it easy to adjust loudness without looking down at the receiver

Reviews

New to the IEM world and liking it!
Guitar hobbyist and mostly use the IEM's to play along with music just through headphones. I've forever been playing the balancing act between the balance of the guitar and what I'm playing along with. This makes the balancing of the two a breeze. My son that plays drums in a tech death metal band and the other band members have only used them at rehearsal so far but and really liked them.
Xvive in-ear monitoring system
I bought the Xvive system for our acoustic bluegrass/country band after struggling to control feedback with floor monitors and still hear each other. I can't compare it to other wireless systems, but the combination of relative affordability and quality were key in making the decision. We have not been disappointed! The sound quality has been great, and we like that everyone gets to customize the fit and control volume to suit their needs. Truly hearing the mix has made us a better band, especially when it comes to tight vocal harmonies.

Game changer in the studio!
GLAD I GOT THIS - Solves lots of problems in the studio - and my clients LOVE this!

I own a studio that records a lot of live bands. One of the problems I've run into in the past was headphone cables!

Musicians were tethered to cables, and for those that were plugged in, this proved to be problematic.

* Before I got this, guitar players and bassists were always very uncomfortable because would get their headphones tangled with their instrument cables when moving around.

* When recording multiple vocalists or horn players, cables got in the way - it was difficult to rearrange everyone when needed.

* When recording myself on guitar or bass, I was constantly getting tangled up in the cables.

So . . . I looked around and saw some really good reviews about these units. They were inexpensive, expandable to as many units as needed (up to 6 separate mixes), and so on. I checked with Kurt Martin, and he confirmed that these should be good for my needs.

I bought the 4-pack units, and am very happy I did!

I use these with Sony MDR-7506 headphones.

* VOLUME: These have plenty of power for the units. I'm able to get identical volume to what I got from these headphones when they are plugged directly into my headphone amps.

* TONE: The tone quality is excellent.

* STEREO / MONO: While it is mono, this doesn't really seem to be an issue when we're tracking, since the bands I work with LOVE the wireless aspect.

* WORKS WITH HEADPHONES & In-Ears: Some members have their own in-ear monitors; other band members prefer headphones. It's easy enough to accommodate everyone on the same mix.

* CHANNEL CLARITY: The studio is right behind a fire station. We haven't had any issues with cross-talk with the forestation, nor any problems with wi-fi.

This is a complete GAME CHANGER!
Im the drummer in a local Hampton Roads Virginia 90s-2000s rock cover band "Four Letter Words." @fourletterw.rds I always had trouble in practice and live hearing what I needed to hear through wedge monitors while also protecting my hearing from the snare drum and the cymbals! We plugged these in and all started using in ears and it was like a deaf person getting cochlear implants! I never knew we actually sounded so good!! LOL!! I mean it......we all just clicked together like never before and our ability to mix was just amplified 100 fold! We are about to try them out live for the first time, but I am so impressed with this system!
